That's a link to google images, and it shows you all perfect circles in minecraft, and where to place the blocks to make it more circular, from 1 by 1 to huge circles. It works pretty well, and it's a great help.
When I said depth, I meant don't have your walls so flat, like put a wooden pillar one layer out from the wall or encircle your build with half slabs, slabs stairs and fences are you friends for depth. imgur.com/a/PlW2s there's some pictures of a house I built that I think shows depth well. Note the borders and the overhang on the roof.
Nice build, If you want to become better, try building without texture packs for a while to get used to using the normal blocks because its got a different contrast! It will help you work towards becoming better.
It's honestly not a great build if you want to be a good builder you just need to spend a lot of time finding inspiration and just building and using a lot of tips from youtube tutorials and so on if you want some advanced tips here's a link to a guy I find really good http://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNdi3WAIiXz1h7tv2BdIZWty2x2XeeHRZ
