In my opinion the house doesn't look that great. But maybe it's because I'm OCD about all my building projects being symmetrical so I can't appreciate other's assymetrical work.
Do you have a materials list? I'm going to be using this house in my Let's Play series and would like to know how much of what is needed before i start building while filming.
Glad to hear that you guys like it!! @AnbuKaru, I'm not entirely sure what the material count is... I probably should've done that while making it. Also, if you're going to make a vid, please acknowledge my credit in it.
@knowogoshi: That's a good point I didn't think about... Shutters would make it look a lot better... but yeah, if you make any major changes to it to make it look better, post a screenie so I can see what you did.
I might make another tutorial on another house of mine, if you guys want it.
Very nice house! I'm a fan of the medieval building style in Minecraft and I always like to see what new builds there are, so I can get better at building myself. I'm going to build my own version of it (based off your design) a slightly modified version with furniture right now on a creative map and see if I can add a little bit of flair to it. If I don't forget, I'll post the result when I'm done.
