I have nothing but praise for your hard work but I feel like you're missing an opportunity here. What's the point of putting it in the ocean if you can't see the water from the inside? Imagine water cascading down in walls, surrounding everything. I made a little test video to illustrate my point:
Edit: didn't mean this to sound negative in any way, what you've built so far is incredible, just a friendly suggestion
And i really do appreciate it that you suggest stuff, it is a rather good idea, but also kind of unrealistic. But what I was already planning is to add glass in the walls, maybe in a pattern, so you can still see the water and whatnot. Also i was thinking of maybe making some water drop down the sides of the walls in some way, but I'll have to see how i'm going to make that work.
Alright so yesterday i made some progress. i finished up the second layer to the sides
after this i started making the platform, this one would be for.. lets just say its for food as well >=)
just add some water!
and a fence!
but then the problems showed up.. the 'cave entrances' i made allowed for easy escape of the food =( as soon as i spawned the food they started climbing it and jumping off of it.. which killed them =/
so i had to change it
It's not as pretty, but it works.
OH! To get the water to the platform some kind of.. tubes of some sort were created!
