Too many items mod. It lets you control the weather, the time of day, it gives you a LOT more items than regular creative, and best of all, you can switch between creative and survival.
Download and install too many items, aswell as allowing you to change game mode INGAME you can also add items to your inventory, change the time of day and change the weather.
Too Many Items actually better than SPC, because it don't need modloader.
It is not better because of that. ModLoader takes 30 seconds to install, I don't get why TMI is better because it does not require ModLoader. Also TMI is so buggy, they need to completely redesign it.

Also in the new updates, if you leave cheats on then you can convert it without a mod.

It's easy to use and you don't have to install it like you would with a mod. Just open it, select your world, and check or un-check the creative box!
