I've got a big project in mind that needs to be built in a Superflat world but I'm not familiar enough with them to create what I need.
I'm going to build the entire map of Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal 1 to 1. Because... I feel like it? I dunno. It's my favourite Pokemon game and it's been a while since I've had a big creative project all to myself.
I would prefer if it were in the latest release of Minecraft, in case there are any mods out there that can help me. The "Tunneler's Dream" preset is where I want to start. It's the closest to what I need anyway. I don't think I'll need 230 blocks of stone in the one layer, but it's better to have an excess, so whatever. I also turned off structures since removing them would only add more work. However, the preset still generates with snow, trees/plants, ponds and lava pits on the surface.(For some reason the surface is always a snowy biome for this preset?) All of this will only get in the way.
How do I create a Superflat world with nothing but dirt blocks on the surface? I don't want to have to remove or fill in anything, and I don't want different biomes, since I'll be needing to build them myself in the correct locations. Oh! And if there's any way to keep mobs from spawning too! I can probably do this with console commands, but if I can create the world without them that'd be great!
5 layers of dirt, 230 layers of stone, 1 layer of bedrock. (top to bottom)
No structures, no lakes, no lava lakes.
No snow.
Launched on 1.13.1 successfully.
Unfortunately, you can only prevent mobs from spawning with console commands (as far as I'm aware) but when I launched the world on that preset, nothing spawned until I set it to night

e
/gamerule doMobSpawning false (You can spawn whatever you want yourself.)
/kill @e (For stragglers)
I've got a long way to go, but now I can start!
Perfect! Thank you so much!
