I'm working on building a really nice and big mansion in Minecraft (See images below) and I need some advice, any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
1) Is the size of the mansion okay?
2) Should I keep the outside color red (Red Concrete) or change it to color/material?
3) Where should I put the dining room?
4) Where should I put the stairs to the 2nd floor?
5) What should I do for the driveway/walkway up to the house?
6) Should I add a garage?
7) Should I add a pond somewhere near the mansion?
Ok, so all your questions boil down to personal preference. What exactly is your goal for the build? If it's to build a realistic house, then a dining room and garage are probably important to that, while a pond would be a nice aesthetic touch.

Just build what suits your goal.
I do have some ideas of what I want to do, but I want to hear others opinions, as they may have some good ideas I could implement into my build. Yes the goal is to build a realistic house and I was thinking of adding a garage. Thanks for your input!
I'll give you an advise which will help you in every aspect in building something...
Go as far in detail as you can get. Do not make things simple, make it complicated through its detail wich you have to add. Regarding "detail", you can really 'overexaggerate' Make every single wall detailed. If you cant add anything more, then add decoration with shapes, 3 dimensional and 2 dimensional shapes. Do something youve never done before.
Everytime you build something, see it as a big construction made out of tiny litlle pieces. Not just a squareshaped block with some holes/windows in it. Put detail in every single piece. If you do that, it will take a lot of time, but it will be worth.
If you build something big such as a mansion, and it didnt take immensly long to build, then that is a sign you can do it way better. Put time in parts, until you cannot add anything more...
Try also to look at what youre trying to build in reality. And look at what it really looks like in real life. Again... DETAIL is your answer.

Take what you will from my suggestions. I won't be offended if you don't use any of them. I scribbled some ideas as you can see.
If you want to add a garage you could replace the windows on the right (or left either way doesn't matter). I think you could make taller narrower windows in the center of the mansion with a balcony and pillars for the entrance, The roof is pretty self explanatory in the scribbles. I would also, if possible, implement curves and rounded edges (really makes things look nice in minecraft).
It is getting a little on the big side if it's supposed to be relative to the size of a Minecraft person. If you keep it this size, I would keep just two stories (so the windows in the roof would be the second story).
You can of course add lots of other things like landscaping around as well. Like I said, you don't have to use any of these options, but here's food for thought. In fact, I'd like to see what you come up with on your own.

I have opinions the third and fourth questions. from practical points of view
3) Where should I put the dining room?
I think the dining room should be on the same side of the building as the kitchen, and also on the ground floor. In this way, cooked food doesn't have to be carried through any other rooms. It would also connect the dining room to the back side of the house, which might be convenient for any imagined garden parties or similar gatherings.
4) Where should I put the stairs to the 2nd floor?
The most common way of placing stairs in mansions are in the middle of the entrance hall as you enter the house.
This placement makes sense; apart from being impressive it also minimizes the longest possible path to walk between any room on the first floor to any room on the second floor. I would follow this standard unless I found very good reasons for doing something else!
