So this is my first ever Post in this forum in general, but a friend of mine and I really wanted to post this, so here goes:
We've been hard at work recreating Peach's Castle from Super Mario 64 in Minecraft. This project started off as a build with pretty much only Vanilla Minecraft blocks, but we started heavily (HEAVILY) using Chisel and Bits lately and this is the outcome of that.
Up to this point, every room inside the castle (except for one) is finished in a rough state, meaning normal sized blocks. We're currently going through it room by room to refine upon it using Chisel and Bits, multiplying the resolution we're working in by 16 since C&B divides your blocks into 16x16x16 bits. Also, we're using Flat Colored Blocks so that we can get exactly the color we need for what we're building.
Anyway, enough with the text, I think most people are only gonna check out the pictures anyway, so here you go (the only ALMOST completely finished room right now is the entry room, so there's more pictures of that in here):
