hi miners i made 2 beacon setup and a 4 layered pyramids but the covered area to give effect to a players seems too short of distance maybe around 15 20 blocks area of distance any suggestions would be nice.
Well 20 blocks is the range of a level 1 "pyramid" (really just a 3x3 platform of blocks with the beacon on top) so it seems like the game only recognizes the top layer of your pyramid.
Probably a dumb question, but are all of your pyramid levels solid platforms? That is, you didn't just create a 9x9 "outline" for the base level - it's a complete 9x9 platform, right (or possibly 9x10 since you said it's a 2-beacon setup)?
actually i did made a 9x9 bottom platform it is exactly as youtube says i even look a setup here in minecraftwiki to be honest.i dug square and i hide it underground but you could see the beacon above ground and ofcourse they all solid blocks an iron blocks mostly i used by the way.
Hmm...maybe rebuild it above ground, and do one step at a time? So do the 3x3 platform+beacon first, and measure the effect. Then add the 5x5 layer and see if it changes...
Just to figure out if it's something going on in your game, generally, or is it something specific to how you built the pyramid below ground.
I'd make sure all the bottom platform is solid gold, iron, emerald, diamond. It really sounds like it's not being built right. It just doesn't seem like your map would have problems alone. Can you send pictures?
