Is anyone else having framerate stutter? I am offline and not doing anything besides walking around. Its really noticeable when your look left to right. It is constant for me.
I am having the same problem! I have tried hard resetting and re installing the game multiple times, however the stuttering is still there. It is so bad and distracting that I refuse to play it until it is resolved. Let me know if you find a way to fix it.
ya it must be poor optimization on the devs part. Its hard to imagine why this is happening I feel like Minecraft isnt a very resource/GPU intensive game.
Hmm, I never noticed it at all on any worlds I created on the X1, but worlds I transferred from 360 did seem to run worse. I'll try and pay more attention when I play tonight
I'm also experiencing it. I have found a couple things to slightly reduce it, but not make it go completely away.
1) If I load the world with auto-save disabled it seems to help a bit. However disabling it while playing doesn't seem to make a difference.
2) Creating a fresh world seems to be a lot less laggy than an uploaded 360 save..
I noticed a decent increase in frames while doing both those two. I created a fresh world (large size) with no auto-save on. Seemed to be decently better.. I do wonder if world size on a fresh world would make a difference too.
I can't really play much with this issue.. really hoping for a fix soon.

What i have noticed was transferring a world from the 360 was the mobs count was huge, ive gone to 2 of my villages and killed about 60 villagers so far and still 3 more to go, doing so makes it smoother on panning, also have a problem with picture frames so not sure if thats conflicting too
Think there might be a problem with mob counts on transfering worlds
Interesting, I'll have to go to my villages and check this out. I have breeding pens so I'll check if they are over producing. Maybe the village cap is bugged and not working?

I'm experiencing the same on ps4. It feels very unsmooth while running and turning around and sometimes it has little hiccups when i fly around in creative mode.the optimization is horrible, even my old xbox 360 version runs lightyears better than this crappy port, which is a shame if you compare the raw power of xb360 and ps4.
I've mentioned that problem in the bugs section, but also my problem is it take several minutes for the world to fill in once you load an existing world, or if you create a new one. The shuddering is bad enough, but when it takes 10 minutes for the world to fill in, that's too much.
Funny, when I first got the One version, it didn't do that. Worked as you'd expect.

After the "update" (I take it the One automatically downloads and installs game updates? Cool, I think.) my filling in problem (above) went away. One world was already filled in when I loaded it, the other that I made many changes to only took 5 seconds at most to fill in. And no stuttering.
Your mileage may vary.

As for the stuttering, you aren't going to find a solution to it until 4J fixes it. It's not something we can do anything about.
This is exactly the sort of feedback I came in here for. Shame it wasn't the positive kind I was hoping for. Minecraft on the XB1 should be running even more smoothly than the 360 version. Stuttering, really? I'm thinking of getting an XB1 soon, that's why I wanted to know. I guess I'll pass on the MC "upgrade" until it really becomes one.
No stuttering on my XB1 and I've had the game since launch. To those of you who do have the stuttering, what are you doing in your game? Just curious if maybe it's because you have a lot going on (red stone mechanisms constantly working, spawner traps, a giant pack of dogs following you, etc)
Also, do you have other things running on your console? Do you have another program snapped open? Are you in a party chat? Are you downloading games in the background? Are you recording gameplay using the built in app? These are all things that will use up precious resources.
Sorry if these have been answered elsewhere. Didn't see it mentioned in this specific thread and since I just joined, I haven't studied everything ever written to these post yet. I was just thinking maybe there's a commonality with what's going on that would be taxing the GPU.

Good points. Thanks for the feedback. Now I'm more concerned about some reports about items being lost, as in all of them. If there's any truth to them, the smoothest frame rate on Earth wouldn't get me to buy this MC version. I have to wait and see how that gets addressed.
I am also having this problem and i am very scared that 4j will not acknowledge this bug for the few that sadly have gotten unlucky enough to get this bug. If by the next update the framerate stutter is still there I personally will attempt to reach out to 4J and see if they have taken notice to the bug or not.
You are very, very wrong.

Got it. Have you noticed the stuttering as well?

Are you playing it on Ps4 or XboxOne ?
