anyone else restarting a map and there temple chest having different contents? Had a seed called Civ Rev that had 6 diamonds in a desert temple and now they are not there. I have made the seed several times and everything was alright but now no diamonds!?
I'm talking about the chest that are generated in the desert temples. I have been searching through seeds to find a good one and have generated the same seed several times. When I go to the desert temple near the spawn it doesn't always have the same stuff. Not keeping track of gold or iron but it has gone (in the 4 chest) from having 6 diamonds and no emeralds to 3 diamonds no emeralds to no diamonds and 2 emeralds and one time it had 6 diamonds and an enchanted book with sharpnessV .
I think that is suppose to be how it works. Unsure though. I always thought those contents were random anyhow. I mean the blacksmith chests on certain seeds don't stay the same, unless they changed that again. This is all from what I remember since I don't go looking for Smithy chests in a seed.
Makes playing the same map different in that respects every time you play. I guess it is just my play style being the reason why I don't mind something like this happening.
After all if I wanted something handed to me in a sense, I would go to creative mode. Just my perspective on this.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
If which is the case, it's either a bug or an update.
As it stands now, you can enter a seed repeatedly on the PC and have the same items each time, which also previously happened for the 360 version as well.
Well this is good news for me. The seed I scouted and am now playing Survival in had crap in the temple chests. Maybe when I get to the other side of the map it will have some better stuff this time.

This seems to be new since the update. The bigger issue for me was I posted several seeds in the seed section with descriptions and it appears the information is incorrect. Some items like the level 5 sharpness enchanted book is supposedly very rare so I don't like posting something that is not consistent. But wanted to make sure this was not just some issue for me only.

I have also noticed that some of the seeds I had coordinates for previous to the update have had spawners change... They are still in the same spot but some skeleton switched to spiders when the update happened for new worlds...

I've been doing a lot in my TU6 world and nothing seems to be different for me.
