It comes out April 30th, Minecraft Xbox 360 version, on a disk! It will have The End update on it, and no updates further than that (possibly). The question is, would you buy it?
To find - Go to the GameStop website, type Minecraft in the search bar. It should be the first choice.
No, and I would not recommend it being purchased especially after 4J's less than honest actions after TU9 has come out. Deleting posts, and then acting like they've never encountered the major and very visible game breaking bugs they had the deceiptful audacity to ask for seeds as if it is a world specific issue. The lighting issues are clearly and have been from the instant the TU came out not a seed related issue. That kind of deceitful posturing is unacceptable. 4J needs to explain what happened with regards to the lighting issue as that one is very immediately a game breaker that is very visible. After that 4J also needs to apologize for the attempts at FUD with asking for seeds in regards to the lighting issues. They are visible on you're own tutorial world as you were made away of right away.
Then again for those people who would be most likely to buy the disc version (non-live accounts) the TU9 version doesn't work anyway. Well, unless you feel like running your 360 24/7 since you can't load old saves.

Looks like 4J pulled a 343. But for the question, I chose both yes and no.
You're asking people who already have an internet connection (and therefore a 99.9% chance they already have the game) if they would buy the game again on disk. Of course the majority of the answers are going to be "no"- why buy it twice? The only reason we here would is if we're paranoid and feel comfortable having a "backup"- even though we can re-download it for free whenever we want.
However, you can't ask are those who don't have internet- and it's those people who are quite likely to buy the game on disk.
Well, and those who want to pass the disk around to their friends so they don't have to buy it.
But something tells me Mojang/4J thought of that scenario.

They already have split screen.
I don't think they're worried.
Getting a whiff on minecraft just increases the chance of buying the game.

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
I'm almost positive that most people in the MCX360 section of the forums would own the game already, but I'm sure a fair few people without an internet connection to download the game would buy it.
Does sound cool being on a disc, I don't own an xbox, but I own a ps3. Changing discs gets annoying, I'd probably just prefer it installed on the console.
