Okay I am not trying to sound rude but just irritated with the lack of competency people have towards the forum. I've been reading multiple threads with the same things posted repeatedly over and over. Now I know most of them are to do with the release of the TU9 update but I've been seeing others as well. Its real simple people. Post in the appropriate thread. I'll even list the main ones out for you that probably already answer your questions.
* This thread pertains to only the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft.. not the PC!
If you take the time to read you would know these links are all listed already in the MCX360: Discussion which you came thru to get here. Just please take the time to look thru the appropriate threads before posting another topic of "When is TU9 coming out" or "Is TU9 out yet" etc etc etc..You can find almost any answer you are looking for if you just take the time to read the threads instead of starting a new one. I know the moderators lock repeated topics and topics not allowed. However save them the trouble and use of their time. Please think before you post. Thank you.
It always gets like this when an update is near but I've seen more and more of the same topics not related to the update. Like how to get other people to play minecraft, etc. There were 3 threads like that all within sight of each other on the forum. I don't know whats wrong with people sometimes.
If you don't hover forums every day it wouldn't bother you, the people in charge can handle it; worry about yourself and quit trying to feel special/important or whatever.

Funny. I don't hover them everyday. Actually haven't been on them in quite some time as I'm busy playing other games other than MCX360. And it isn't to make myself feel important or special. I simply posted this for new members in hopes they might read this before they do post. Also its not about the moderators being able to handle it. Its common courtesy. So stop assuming you know why I posted this and try to leave positive comments. Your negativity is not appreciated.

I am just tired of seeing people put down new forum users left and right, some people mean no harm and don't know certain things aren't liked. The first time I used this forum I had no idea there was a rules thread, because I over looked it since I barely knew how to use this thing.
As much as I agree with some of the points you make, this thread isn't about MCX360.
Please note that a lot of users that ask when the update is are from the younger crowd. Some may still be learning how a forum works.
We do not generally lock questions unless the question has been asked hundreds of times before. Some questions lead to discussion, so question threads will not be directed to the pinned thread.
This is the 9th update we are coming up on, and the process is always the same.
First users ask when update is.
Information about update date/testing is tweeted, threads are made about that.
Update finally has a date, threads are made for that...and still get threads asking about update.
Update is released....threads about that.
Complaint threads.
People asking when next update is...cycle repeats.
The best way to help is to just use the report button and don't reply to the thread.
