When I tried to get my dad to play video games, well their hands aren't used to using controllers.this was on a Saturn and I think my dad was late 50's at the time. So he's gonna have to learn how to use a controller first.
You must gradually teach them how. Start with basics and perform tests for him so he gets hands on learning and memory. If you try to explain everything at once you will fail, it will take playing at least once per week for a while for him to know how to do things on his own. Explain how the right stick controls the head and left stick is the legs so he understands. Show how crafting takes stages of materials and how it shows the recipe.
I think the first question you have to honestly ask yourself is: does he want to learn how to play or do you want him to learn?
I ask because if he really isn't that interested, you can't teach him.
hi
im a very young grandpa been playin video games atari
but my 5 year old grandson is the one that teached me how to play minecraft. he talked me into getting it a xmas.
he play at his dad and wanted it here to.
since dec we got a nice house visited many caves and i minetrack comein out of a big cave up to our house.
the only thing is out nether fortess dont have any blaze rod and we cant find a stronghold.
so yes u can teach your dad.....
grandson looking forward to tu9 he want to start a whole new world.
I don't have a Dad ( Mom and Dad are deversed ) but I do have an idea of how to teach your Dad though. But first of all does he even wanna learn how to? Because if your just bringing this up outta no where then it's kinda wierd. But if he does wanna learn teach him how to controll the controller first before he does anything! Than teach him the basics of Minecraft and what each block is and how to craft items. ( Yes I know this is a lot of work hopefully he is a quick learner ) And then just play with him from there if he needs help always be like " Oh that's okay Dad I can help you with that " or " Here Dad let's teach you how to _________ " so yeah that's all the tips I can think of right now. I hoped I helped with your problem a bit!
