Why not just carry a bucket of water? It's faster, has more uses, and you can even make an elevator if you need to take it with you by placing it a few block up above you and then swimming to the top collecting it and placing it a few blocks above you again, repeating the process until you get to the top.
Also I'm surprised nobody has said lava yet, I mean it is technically a block. But besides that, probably netherack, I had three ghasts attacking me and I nearly died because it's so flammable.
lava isnt a block its a liquid. it takes many shapes not always a block

That only says the source is a block, says nothing about the lava itself except that it is fluid/liquid. Which makes sense. You can not pick up the flowy part after all, since that part is not a block, hence my statement...

i said it takes many shapes. meaning. at moments in can be a block and like tamorr said it also flows. no block flows. but what im trying to get as is liquid looks like a block even though its not

Yes I agree with that, but still the source block is a block.

I agree with that as well, but part of it is a block and a lot of times in my case I fall into a lake of lava when I'm in the nether (stupid ghasts hit me into it)
Worst block is gravel. With dirt, at least you can mine a tunnel through it. Gravel falls, and that kills it. Sand is the same way, but i only generates on the surface.

Sand makes glass and sandstone, which are some of the best aesthetic blocks there are.
Gravel makes impressive roads, especially when it is bordered by stone slabs. I fail to see why it received so much hate.
Dirt is the key to evening and flattening land. It is one of the most important blocks in the game.
Stone is a clear and beautiful type of block. There is no reason to hate it.
Sponges are interesting aesthetic pieces, and they are one of the few detections of Creative Mode.
The block I despise most is clay. It covers the bottoms of every river, lake, and ocean with its grotesque grayness. Its only purpose is making bricks, a space-heavy and lengthy process that requires lots of work, and the profit is only the fourth of the block itself. Even then, bricks are very limited and unattractive.
Well it has few uses, it's one of the least appealing blocks texture wise and it's annoying. I'd say it's hard not to hate.
i was stepping on gravel today and it sounds k=just like minecraft gravel kinda makes me like gravel a bit more. but i still dont like it

Without a doubt, gravel. It's ugly, and it makes large unnecessary cavities after it falls that really mess with my OCD. I'm fine with sand for its uses, and it even looks and sounds nice by itself. Even though I like sniping mobs and would love a large supply of arrows, I hate mining gravel, even for flint. I just hate it that much.
What do you use it in? The "1800s Factory" architecture? I am sorry, but bricks do not appeal to me in any way.
There is the sense of satisfaction when working on a survival build and being able to make a large house out of bricks (totalling over 400+ blocks, and probably 2 stories+), because, it is a real pain to go hunting for all that clay (even though it is easy to mine when using the door trick)

They may not appeal to you, but I love bricks. Stone bricks, bricks, Nether bricks, and glass panes are my favorite blocks in the game because they look amazing.

If you place a wooden/iron (though wooden is best) door underwater, it creates a 2x1 pocket of air that you can mine out of, or swim back too if you are drowning. I personally prefer to use i to dig out of because you dig faster in the bubble.
oh so its like the fence trick, sign trick, ladder trick, and the quick torch trick

I hate wool so much! I can't stand when people make things 100% out of wool. It's so ugly. Also, if you think about it, a wool structure would get all soggy and full of bugs after it raining. It's just gross!

I actually would use it as a decorative base roughly 1-2 blocks high around some buildings.. combine that with some other blocks and it will look a lot better, at least in my opinion. Texas has a lot of brick buildings like this... So it is not 1800s... In a big city you may not see it as much, but it is there. Mainly seen in smaller towns. I would say it is more 1900s.
