The problem wasnt the saving in creative mode, it was the fact the host options arent working. You cant fly if you are in the game on your own.
Yes, you can... Load the world with Host Privileges checked on... THEN... depress the "Back" button (just to the left of the center X button on the controller). You will see a list of players in the game. If you are are only player in the game, your gamertag will be the only one on the list. Selecting it opens up another menu with the options for what host privileges you want to activate: "Can Fly"... "Disable Exhaustion"... "?? Invisible." I know it works... I've used it while alone in a world. However, your world will then display the message "Created in Creative Mode" on the main load screen for that world and leaderboards and achievements will be disabled for that world forever after.
When standing in front of a block while directly touching the block you are standing in front of, you can't place another block on top of that block (directly in front of you face). It appears and dissapears immediately.
Thats really annoying when building walls etc..
You're standing too close. Just back up a little on the block you're standing on and you'll be able to plant the block in front of you.
I don't know if you would call this a bug or not, but it is annoying. Animals that have been trapped in a pen always seem to press together at the gate (or door) and jump constantly. this can be a problem when trying to enter or exit the pen,and sometimes (especially when it's lagging) the animals can escape. Does this happen to other people or is it just me?
This is not a bug. The animals are supposed to be annoying. It's part of the game. What I do is push my way into the pen and then switch the item in my hand to wheat (or wheat seeds if I'm working with chickens). If any animals have escaped the pen as I've entered it, they will generally turn right around and re-enter to follow the wheat/seeds. After they are back in, I just shut the gate. Conversely, when I go to leave an animal pen, I make sure that I'm not carrying any wheat/seeds in my hand.
Today, after playing about 20 minutes wandered after some animals to kill and came back and found all but 2 of the animals in my pen had disappeared. I had sheep in almost every color, 2 full cows, 2 full pigs, and a bunch of babies before I walked away and 1 cow and an orange sheep left when I came back. I had not gone more than 65 blocks away (I know this because my 2 houses which are centered on 2 shafts that go down to bedrock that are exactly 50 blocks apart, and I was level with the second house and my pen was directly on the otherside of the first house.). I had only been gone long enough to kill 3 cows, and 2 sheep. After logging out and back in, none of the animals reappeared.
It happened again today as well. Had gotten my animal count back up to 4 pigs (2 babies), 2 sheep (1 baby), and 2 cows (1 baby). Went down the shaft in my house, came back and they were all gone.
If you had all these animals in one pen, chances are that pen was large enough that the animals could move about for more than 20 blocks. In order to prevent the animals from despawning on the Xbox, they must be kept in a pen that does not allow them to move 20 or more blocks in any direction. Build small pens and keep only 2 or 3 animals in each pen.
Yes, i know that i can plant it when i back up a little. But that little backing up was what annoyed me.
Meanwhile i think it may be that it's supposed to be that way.
I think it's due to a difference in the angle of view. If you look at another player in the game, you'll often see that they appear to be over the front edge of the block they're standing on.

Thanks. Had just expanded my pen the day before the disappearings started to happen. So I went back to count. I had had a pen that was 19x20 and had added 2-3 blocks to both sides of one corner. Maybe that's what happened.
I'm still having trouble getting passive mobs to follow wheat and seeds. I will literally stand there in front of a cow holding wheat and it won't follow me. Only after putting it away and then equipping it again after numerous times does it finally work. Then, when they do follow you, they seem to just want to circle you.
Definitely not how I remember it working on the PC.

I've had this too. The way I've found to reliably get them to follow me when they're ignoring me is to push up against them, this seems to get their attention.
I don't know whether this was intentional or not, but the trick with the bonus chest doesn't seem to work anymore. For anybody who doesn't know, when we first got the bonus chest feature (1.8, TU5 ) we hadf been able to loot the chest exit, save, and reload, and the chest would be filled again. This was a massive help for me and it saddens me that this is no longer the case, but I guess it'd be for the greater good.
Also, nether fortresses tend to spawn awkwardly(usually merged into the ground ) and the only way to usually find it is to glance forcefully for it, or to fall in by chance. I guess this'll be fixed with the reset nether option in TU9.

Maybe, but I think they should at least change it so the animals won't make the "fall damage sound" when they are jumping.
I found a bug with redstone when i needed to make an AND gate. It inverts the signal at first turning the main torch on but then when you cut the power it doesn't turn back off. I don't know why this is happening but it is frustating when making a complex cicuit. I also found the same bug listed here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/632873-minecraft-xbox-360-edition/65351764?mob_off=1
Sometimes it will take some seconds until the animals follow you. Just let the wheat/seeds equipped and wait, after a short while they will follow you.
I find it good this way, so animals won't push you like mad when you're in a pen feeding them (well actually they do ).
That is good and all but that isn't how wheat and animals are supposed to work.
They are supposed to immediately follow you when you're holding wheat and you enter their detection range. There should be no waiting, or having to get right in front of them, or bumping into them with wheat.

i have had thi happen as well, i had to stay close to my chicken farm, i dont do animal farms now.
Yeah I had the animal despawning bug as well, yet it only seems to happen with chickens. I made a small little pen (about 2 wide and id say 10 deep) and went and found 2 chickens, I lured them back but one got caught in a hole so I lured the first one into my pen, then I went for the second one. It was still there but when I got back with it the other chicken had despawned, and I hadn't left the gate open I'm sure of that. So I was a bit bummed out about it because I was going to keep breeding them, and there are like no chickens on my seed. I was hoping that the other one would lay an egg so then I could get a chick. It did but when I entered the pen it was right up against the gate and somehow it pushed it's way out. I didn't have any seeds on me so I went and got some from my wheat farm which is very close to my pen, probably about 30 or more blocks away. When I got back with the seeds the chicken was gone, it had vanished. It didn't take me more than 30 seconds to go and get the seeds so I searched everywhere for the chicken but it had despawned. So now I can't make a cake
I can also confirm the enchanted tools don't make the sound when they break.
if you send a very brief pulse to a sticky piston it will drop the block you are moving. This is documented behavior and is actually used by some folks to make extremely small t-flipflops.
Check your timing to make certain that this is not happening with your lower piston.
Ok, what's happening is I stack 2 pistons one on top of the other. When I give energy both pop up, when I take the energy the top piston stays stuck to the bottom piston and they both go back to the start position.
When I put a block on top of that, they both pop up. When I remove the energy, the bottom one retreats, the top one retreats, but the top piston doesn't stay stuck to the bottom piston.

Just as a test: try doing it horizontally and see if the problem still occurs. There's a known (and commonly exploited) bug with pistons powered from the vertical that don't drop power unless there's a block update next to it. This picture explains it better than I can: http://i.imgur.com/AHCbc.jpg
Mooshrooms for some reason don't follow you. Most annoying thing ever. They also despawn. MAJOR BUG: My brother and I were playing on a world in split screen, (He was host) and he was riding a boat and he went into a swamp biome, where some wild wolves had wandered, and he was full health, and he just randomly died while in the boat. It said he hit the ground too hard, but what ground, he was above water. Now we are both afraid to use boats. Also, please acknowledge the nether portal bug right away. On the same world that he died in the boat, the game crashes EVERY TIME we enter the nether.
Nevermind I found 2 more chickens (not the same ones) but it didn't do it this time, and I am quite happy but they always seems to be right in front of the door (even when I don't have wheat seeds in my hand) making it very hard to enter the coop without one escaping. Pigs and cows don't do this.

This reminds me of what happened on the pc. Where if the boat ran aground it would be insta death to player. Unsure if that is what you are saying happened, but it is quite similar. Still a bug with the boat causing death, which I have to agree is not a good thing... Wonder how they managed that one..O_o

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

Does nothing but vanish. As in no ore no block nothing is left. It does nothing during and after or even after a reload.

You need silk touch to be able to pick them up if you want them.
