If you're trying to play on more than one xbox, you'll have to recover the purchasing gamertag (hopefully the owner of the family plan), download it again, and then you SHOULD be able to play it on the other box as well.
Otherwise, you can go to xbox.com and switch your licensing to a separate xbox (the only allow this once per year) and then you can play it on both boxes, while only buying it once.
When a Gold Account downloads a game on XBL, any account (local, Silver, or guest) on that Xbox can play even when the Gold account is logged off, but ONLY on the Xbox that first downloaded the game.
You can "recover" or move your gamer profile to another xbox and download the game again, HOWEVER the Gold account MUST BE LOGGED IN if anyone else wants to play the game (otherwise it will act like a trial). The gold account does not have to be playing, it just has to be logged in (and I think connected to XBL).
If I buy Minecraft on the Xbox with my account, will all accounts be able to play? Or just myself?
Thanks!
Any account that signs in on your xbox can play.
