I cant believe all these people ranting about "xbox won't have anything pc wont" its gonna be more like " xbox will have one or two things pc doesn't have" for about a 30 mins
on minecraft x-box 360 edition there should be cats, ocelots, enderman, npc villagers, and mods. also the server should be extended. i traveled my entire server and the majority of it is open ocean. i made a bridge to the island i love because every tree is 10 blocks high but it is basically like the closest area of land that i could build another kingdom on and its so far away that u cant see the entire bridge from any point of it. there are other islands along the way but most are small and only one has a tree. the islands that are small are circles. the island with one tree on it is shaped liked a cheetoe. i dont mind but after a while being on one large continent with no oceans to cross is boring. i have oceans jut not many islands large enough that i'll actually enjoy going to. i got so fed up with that so i decided to build my own island witch worked out well. no monsters spawned there until the first sapling i planted grew. but any way i hope that stuff in the next update.

We will be getting those mobs in later updates. Whatever update they came out in the PC version is when we will get them, unless they pull them up early. The next update will be 1.8.2, which I think includes endermen, and npc villages, but not villagers. Then we will get 1.2.3 which should have the rest of the mobs you listed. As for increasing world size, they are looking into it.
i also think there should be a way to color redstone with colored dyes to create stuff like blue, yellow, cyan, white, black, pink, brown, etc. colored redstone torches
The only problem I see with the backpack is weight cap. Can you put backpack into backpack into backpack? Where does it end? Don't you think already that the amount of things that we carry is an extreme amount that a person really couldn't carry in life? Loads of pickaxes, shovels, mounds of dirt and stone. When does this start to weigh us down? More capacity for us to carry even more items just seems un-minecraft-like. We are supposed to want/have to return to our homes for these reasons.
The point of interest thing as well seems to have been covered already, take out some pen and paper and jot down the coordinates your at in order to revisit something that you've discovered. I would like to have the visible feature you all speak of as well, being able to turn off and on the points of interest, i just feel it's been covered in a sense and it's already do-able.
Colored glass would be great. Glue to stick blocks for the piston door effect is also a great idea, one block just isn't enough.
Hookshot/grappling hook? I could see where this could come in handy a few times, but I think it would take some of the exploration aspect out. Are people tired of walking already, and building ladders to higher or lower points they would like to get to? People just want to zelda hookshot all over the place and have no use for their legs?
Agreed the ingredients for guns are in minecraft, I just personally wouldn't like to see them end up in the game. Crossbow would be excellent, bow is good enough for me. Adding guns... also seems very un-minecraft-like.
New mobs/biomes/ are always good ideas.
The idea about carrying your inventory to another world.. I do like this. I also see some complain-worthy notes on it. Visit a friends world, rob his chests of all valuables, leave into your world, turn invite only on. Friend hates life.
Tornados? Earthquakes? Amagad. Not sure about this one. I see it now. 20 Hours spent building your wonderful town/city only to see hurricane katrina make waste to it all. Ragequit. It was hard enough having to deal with creating an entirely new world just because clay came out. I think we've already seen enough natural disasters. Wondering what that would do to the framerate to see a tornado destroying blocks in it's path. Is it an F1 hardly taking anything, or an F5 destroying our stone homes. Now we have to build an underground shelter to run from this only to find our entire work destroyed when we come up from the ground? Will there be sirens alerting us that the tornado is coming? Does it rip our chests apart and take the items with it and strew them around to never find everything? I feel sorry for that guy who's worried about not having any red flowers left. And please don't suggest I just fix the damage in creative mode... achievements disabled and leaderboard stats.
Another transportation portal to the other end of your world? Didn't they already accomplish that by making Nether portals? You know you can still make rails and mine carts as well right? If the transportation options weren't enough already.. Why not just play creative mode?
I'm down with a lot of these ideas, but when you start adding lazy options to a game your already sitting down playing just moving your fingers and thumbs.... come on.
I also agree that half slabs and stairs of every block type would be really cool, and I also think it would be really cool to be able to select the depth of superflat seeds, be it by percentage or block height, so that generate structures would be more useful. It would also make building underground worlds a bit easier as well.
How about snow cones with snow and sticks ?
You say block of ice but we cant pick up ice soooo maybe SNOW ??
Yeeeah, block of snow. o:

I love it, PC just got beacons in a snapshot, but it goes vertically, i'd love a horizontal one for lighthouses.
