Make posts on this forum asking for other young players then send them friend requests on PSN. You can also join a Minecraft community on psn and post on the message board looking for people to play with.
You could post that either here in 'servers' or in 'looking for', just say that you are looking for a kid-friendly server. If you aren't getting any responses here, you could also try the PSMinecraft Subreddit, they usually have a few people looking for servers/friends for their children. Good luck dude
My 6 yr old son now has Minecraft on PS4 (I know nothing about it) he's wanting to play online but I'm seeing you can't play on random servers on PS4?
How can I go about this? Are there general servers he can go on? If so how would I add him onto them?
Servers are yet to be added to the ps4.
There are hosted worlds though.
What do you mean by hosted world's? I'm totally new
well there like people who play on there worlds and because they're multiplayer worlds friends can join.
So they leave their console on and others can join whenever they want. That's a hosted server.
Ah so do you know any good that I could for my 6 year old?

Which category would I put that in?

You can add me if you want, I host the server pretty often.

There are a few younger kids who play on the server, admittedly though the youngest is 11. We're still open to have you guys join if you'd like.
Something else to do is join a PS4 minecraft community and he can join random servers through the communities. Just be careful of toxic players.
