I really do not understand. I'm playing Creative/Peaceful on PS3, and actually am working on a superflat village build. But when I go to 'customize superflat' and try to use different biomes, no matter what I do, all I ever can get is flat plains, sometimes with a village or two. No trees, no flowers, no water, no lava, NOTHING.
What am I doing wrong?

This ain't no party, this ain't no disco, this ain't no foolin' around...
Choosing the biome pretty much just affects what spawns in the world, like setting the super flat biome to desert will tint the grass to a more yellowish colour and spawn the desert zombies and skeletons throughout the whole world. It's a kinda useless feature and usually best set to the default. And as for being able to make super flat world's with variation you can only set it to add random ravines and caves and vegetation along the surface in the extra options for super flat customisation, sadly there's to way to randomise bumps and such and it will always just stay level for the whole world. Hope this helps
