Yes, that was turned on and I've built a nice house, fence off areas for livestock and made some crops. My 6 year old Grandson will be so disappointed if we have to start over as we have mined a lot of ore and done a lot of crafting also. Where can I find a map of my seed? I don't have a computer.
Far as I know, you have to make your own maps. "Empty Map" is in the weapons inventory. Put it in tour bar, then select (hold) it while you fly around You'll see it start to plot. I do the edges, then fill in the center by flying back and forth in rows.Making a map is the first thing I do with a new world. Any villages will show on the map, but you have to look close, they can be hard to see. If you don't hold the map it won't plot. Hold it in front of your face to read it, raise our eyes/view to watch where you're flying so you don't hit a mountain.
Java you can zoom in by using a crafting table, PS just is what it is. I think.

I'm sorry for your misfortune. If you played the Java Edition for PC I could point you to a program that could map your entire world, sadly that won't help you. While I can't get you a map I can share this link with you: https://chunkbase.com/apps/village-finder which may be able to help you. Chunkbase doesn't have full support for PS3/xbox360 editions but it does appear that the village finder has PS3 support and could help you locate a village. It has been a long time since I played the 360 version but if your PS3 worlds are as small as the 360 worlds were then there is no guarantee that your seed will have a village and you may just end up out of luck. To use the utility, you'll make sure you select the appropriate version (PS3) under the search grid then input your seed at the top and click search. If a village is supposed to be in your world it will appear as an orange cube within the grid and when you cursor over the area the coordinates will display in along the bottom of the grid. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
I'm 68 and lost. I can't find any villages in my seed. I'm getting frustrated. Any maps of seeds? Thanks
we're the same age. I'm a noob too. when you created your world, was "generate structures" checked?
