Hey guys, I am an Xbox 360 player but one of my friends has a birthday coming up and he really wants MineCraft for the PS3. Do any of you know how I could get this for him? Is there like a disk I can get at a retail store for PS3?
Anyways, thanks for reading,

Yeah you can give him the 20€ PSN card but you cant give a share of your own minecraft copy or when disc version comes ,you may not buy that for him. Also people can not give giveaways minecraft copys.
This was said in terms of rules that pops up on PS3, i hope everyone checkd it
So... my mom can't buy me a game as a gift? Because it violates the ToS?
Not entirely sure that's how it works. If you purchase a game the terms of use do not apply until the game is actually opened. You may purchase a disc and gift it to some one unless you activate the software(install on ps3 or otherwise). Once you activate the software you accept a nontransferable license agreement to not copy, share, or even give away the game.
I could be wrong and would be happy if someone can cite the Sony T.o.S.

Your mom can buy you a game as a gift. That does not violate anything.

It WOULD be a violation if your mom opened the game, you played it for 6 weeks and gave it to a friend.
Please try to tell the truth on the forum.
You can give the game even if you have played it for 2 years, as long as you don't sell it or make copies and giving those away.
If you give the game, it will be considered a simple use of the first license.
simple as that!!
Peace
