Fun fact: for every subscriber I get, a kitten is born. So what are you waiting for?!
Eastern wall has been completed. Now only south and west walls remain to be built. Might run out of stone bricks before it's all over. Then the watchtowers and gates. Those will definetly put me out of my reserves of stone bricks so I'll need to get more. Then we get to work on building everything in the inner courtyard...
Slowly, but surely, Diamond's Castle nears completion.
Made a cow farm, created a map for a new area, went exploring through a VAST jungle (but no jungle temple),journeyed through a desert (no desert temple but TWO villages!) and returned home.
Although I have had an underground home before, I decided to try a "Cave" home. My previous underground home on a very old Alpha was a what I call a drop-down cave as in it went straight down and getting down was perilously tricky. Thus the home was split into "layers and "floors". This new idea, on Creative (Although I might try a survival one), came from a video I saw by xslyfoxhoundx where ImmortalHD made his home in a cave, it inspired me!
The cool thing about cave homes is you've just got rooms running on rooms where the caves run on and on.
Here's what I have so far, texture pack is Misa's realistc.
Front
Back:
Originally they were reverse, the back was going to be the front but deep in the cave I thought there was a higher ledge at one point, so I began placing stairs upwards. When I did put light down I saw I was just going against a dead end wall, but I continued to see where it might go. Surprised me when I hit water, but I went with it, so that will be the plush front entrance.
Not sure how I'm gonna make the entrance look yet though.
View from the bottom of the front entrance stairs:
Kept the natural waterfall, but made a pit so it wouldn't flood everywhere + iron railings. The door shape leads to more caves, just lit up at the moment. yet to be decided what is going to be done through there.
Stairs lead up and down with this separating wall (+ glass panel), downstairs leads to a ravine, which I haven't explored yet. The ravine can also be viewed from a viewing balcony, which is right round the corner, behind the wall where I was standing:
The stairs up lead back round to the most decorated bit so far, the back area:
From certain angles you can almost forget it's a cave and mistake it for an actual house.
When I saw the colour of the clay, I had to use it for the walls, I wanted something earthy or natural anyway in this area as a continuation into nature/ the mouth of the cave/back entrance, so clay was a great choice, I also chose jungle plank floors because in Misa's texture pack it really goes nicely with the clay walls. So as we approach the stairs we have a little cloakroom for when you come inside from the rear entrance.
Also as night falls it looks great with minimal lighting, lovely and warm:
As we go up:
Perhaps a little mushroom farm behind that wooden door? Whilst creating this I have also tried to blend it in with the natural surroundings outside as well, so it's not obvious:
Outside view of Loft: (accessed from corridor next to cloakroom)
Outside ariel:
Long way to go yet but it sure is fun, and I might try a survival one out in the long run for sure!

Finally found a fortress in the nether, in fact there were two that spawned right next to each other. And inbetween those two there was a gap I did not see. Suddenly a ghast appeared and I prepared for battle. Then, without even realizing it, I stepped through the gap and fell several blocks into lava. True story.
I completed and revamped my walls on my faction HQ. I added a glass shield for defense against enderpearlers and flying donators. I have also put up Piston gates for the main entrance right into the sub-terranian base.

So after this whole ordeal I decided to pick myself back up and restart. And was working to re-enchant my sword and pickaxe so I decided to go exploring at night so I could get experience from mobs. I found a desert temple. I explore desert temple. I loot chests at bottom successfully without setting of bomb. I'm about to leave then I try to make my way on top of the temple. There is a hole at the top, I stupidly look down without pressing shift and fall. Not only did I die but my dead body landed on the pressure plate below and BOOOOM goes my stuff. ;__;

Wow! That's great! Even if it is in creative, it still must've taken quite a while to figure out how to design everything. And something I had been thinking about, but not quite sure: Is this inspired from Etho's Let's Play cave home? Because I've seen some of his LP's, and noticed that he lives in a huge cave system, which seems rather smart, IMO. And the way he layed everything out was just amazing. I can see you're off to a good start. Hope to see more updates soon, keep up the good work!
I haven't generated new terrain for sometime in my world, so I was hoping the get a carrot by hunting zombies for rare drops. I've gotten 4 potatoes but no carrots. I may have to find a new village.
In the past few weeks I have finished the following mini build projects.
Built part of an in base village.
Built some decorations for my small beach and a tiki bar. (Unfortunately no testificates will trade you drinks, this guy just offers steaks).
Built some more decorative scenery accross the bay on the edge of a jungle biome. I think the villagers were inspired by the easter island heads...
Added a second beacon, block to my tower. The desert quarry I fought the withers in is an absolute mess now.
I... haven't been doing much lately, but here's what I have done.
I went on a small spelunking trip, came back with about 1.5 stacks of coal, with the .5 being used for torches, about 40 blocks of Iron Ore, 2 stacks of redstone and some gold. I then decided to make an auto-harvester on my indoor Pumpkin Farm. As the farm was already made, I had to dig out a portion of the floor and remove the irrigation to prevent me accidentally flooding out the redstone.
While building, I temporarily forgot piston mechanics, and built a line of redstone dust running underneath the sticky pistons instead of repeaters running into them. When I flicked the lever, and realised why it wasn't working, I had one of those FUUUUU- moments. So I threw some cobble in my furnaces, fired them up, then sat my ass down to wait before making 10 repeaters. I finally got the automater done, and it paid off. It looks cool, works well, and motivates me to actually harvest my pumpkins once in a while.
I then went on a boating trip out the back of my house, through the stuffed-up swamp that's seen about three different edits of the terrain generator. I found a nice clay patch, collected something around five stacks, and smelted it.
And that's my most recent work.
Ok so technically this was in tekkit but felt i should share it anyway.
So while smelting some ores I had the random thought. "Hmmm, if it's 8 steps in the nether to one block in the overworld, i wonder where building a random portal in the nether would take me." So i grab my obsidian and flint and tinder and head through the portal i have set already. So I go through the portal, thankfully not seeing any ghasts or provoking the pigmen, and decide to set my portal up several hundred meters away from my entrance. I set it up, light it with the tinder, and go through.
Wow! That's great! Even if it is in creative, it still must've taken quite a while to figure out how to design everything. Thanks I've been working furiously on it since, can't help myself. Since last time I have found a spot for animal farms, done more on the entrance, and turned the immediate area from the stairs turned shades of blue. (After much debate about the decor). I've also redone 3 -4-5 corridors and a bedroom area (Which I've since changed - not sure what it will be now).
Let the latest pics commence!:
At first with the entrance I did this:
But then decided I wanted to blend it with the outside environment more, so changed all the stone-brick to stone to blend in with the land and added vines. Then to continue the natural theme I changed the edges to logs but then decided to chop them down and just trees there:
New view from the bottom of the stairs:
Continuing on from there i did several walls with End stone floor, sandstone walls with soul sand feature walls:
Bedroom area:
Since this pic I have removed the little room (actual bedroom) and am using the entire space, whether it remains as a bedroom or something else I don't know yet. Maybe a living area.
The area for the animal farms:
Down to chicken area:
Both the chicken and cow farms have sky-lights in the ceilings going all the way up to the surface.
I need to change the entrance stairs really, the 2nd set coming down anyway, not sure what will go with the blue though.

Made a hole in the ground, called it home, added a anvil and some lava (for despensing) and a enchantment room. Next to it is another 4x4 hole that leads to level 11, found a zombie spawner when I was branch mining in it. Made a dirt house thingy and started calling it home, but I found 2 wofls, now its there home. Made a Cow pen, a Creeper blew it up, but I maneged to fix it. Have a half stack of dimonds,
Cobble Structure is to kill Endermen.
Enchanting room is branched off 2x2 hall that ends in the anvil and bed.
The Lava is there to not ocupie buckets or chest space, and as a dispenser.
If the Lever is fliped 3 gates are opend so that the dogs can come out to help me if in trouble. I have 6 dogs now.

Minecraft [Alpha] 1.7.3 had blocks that you can use to build with.
Minecraft now has blocks that you can use to build with.
Nothing has changed in my opinion." That is all.

They took 40 blocks. That’s as many as four tens. And that’s horrible.
I went on a small spelunking trip, came back with about 1.5 stacks of coal, with the .5 being used for torches, about 40 blocks of Iron Ore, 2 stacks of redstone and some gold.
