Me and some of my friends have been woandering for our server is it possible to increase the Build hight of the ceiling from 256 to somethign higher to allow for things aboutt he clouds levels. Is there a mod or somethign maybe in the server properities we are just missing?
Since the clouds are only 100-something you should be able to manage the goal you just mentioned fairly well, but I think I remember seeing some mods like that. I think Wedge has an ability to raise the world limit, though I may be mistaken.
One thing to point out though, it's made for Minecraft 1.1, so you'll have to downgrade. And it only works on singleplayer.
If you want higher maps in multiplayer, you'll just have to wait.
Nope, the anvil format doesn't support heights higher than that. It's just the way it works :/

Im playing on version 1.5.2 today and the build hieght on my tunnelers dream superflat world is 18 blocks high and it is very inconvenient, can i change it? please help.
Im not sure... I had a Tunnelers Dream map too, and I found it quite inconvenient too... So I just deleted the world and created a new one using MCEdit

But the build limit does not need to be increased to build above the clouds, since they are at around 100 blocks height. Therefore the question is a non-starter.
I went Up there and set Up a Bed. I was Expanding the edges and fell and now I am Stuck. :(. Its pretty Boring. All I can do is exercise by running in circles and sleep and fight mobs with my fist. (NO LIGHT). But I'd Hate to Cheat to get back down. lol
Excuse me, but! just pointing out that if you fill a glass to higher then it can hold, it overflows, NOT dissapears - My point being, there is always a solution, and that solution is :EDIT:File Removed - Illegal Source

I do not believe a plugin exists for this. I know there have been a few attempts. But nothing successful to my knowledge.
That's what he's asking for. If you aren't going to give him a link you're not being too helpful.
@ OP As far as I know it's not possible to increase the map height.
That's 128 blocks of vertical space above the clouds. I don't see why you'd need more than that.
