I do now, after a creeper spawned in my house and blew up my nightlight made of lava behind glass and the lava burnt my entire house to the ground. I had to remake the whole thing again.
I do because I'm a coward. I hate going into a dark cave, and the only thing that keeps me going in those caves is knowing nothing will jump out and kill me. Also, I got the game so I could build stuff.

As soon as you find diamond.
You run.
You run fast.
You run not caring what else is back there.
You run because creepers know you found diamond.
You run because lava knows you found diamond.
Run.
Only if I'm trying out a concept for something. It's black or white for me. If I want to play survival, it never goes down from hard mode and I use absolutely nothing that isn't already in the game (no hacks or mods, basically), but if I want to try out an idea for mine carts and redstone, or I want to see what my building idea would look like before I make it, then sure I'll hack my inventory and put it on peaceful.

I'm almost 100% positive that this have been suggested before but i'll suggest it again anyways
1) Games where you kill monsters.
2) Games where you build things.
What I DON'T like is when I'm trying to build something and I get ****ed from behind by a monster. Either I'm fighting or I'm building. Not both. So yeah, most of the time I go Peaceful, unless I feel like going Rambo and seeing how many points I can get in one night (I count them manually. Points are the same as they were in survival test.)
If i'm building something to show off to people (like pixel art in minecraft) yes, I do. When treasure hunting/walking around, no. It's boring only being able to die by burning in lava or drowning (lol, drowning).
I played on peaceful mode up until a few days ago when I was testing out my dispenser based mob trap and wanted to find more inside it than cow hides and bacon. I turned easy on for one night and found it to be rather fun and I haven't turned it off since.
I have a world for redstone shizz like cannons and note blocks and dispensers and combination locks and such, where I play on peaceful and hack my inventory. I also have a world where I play completely legit, no inventory hacking, nothing. I play on easy there. Maybe normal, but never hard. I'm scared like **** on easy, so no way I'm going on hard.

I play on peacefull mode. i dont really enjoy having to battle monsters. i like the building aspect more. having to gather items makes it more of a challenge. its like, limited creative mode, imo.

Give me an internet, or Chuck Norris will kill you!!!
I play on peaceful on SSP because I only use my SSP worlds for messing around. I also use Invedit on SSP for the same reason unless it's a world I want to be legit on. Serious play is done on a SMP world I play on with friends which has monsters enabled and thus is nowhere near peaceful.
also sometimes to heal myself... i rather not go into my large chest filled with bread and bacon
Peaceful is for pussies or architects.
But I'm a manly archtiect.
So, you do play on peaceful?
Same here.
I think you're an ass who critisizes others for playing the way they want to, calling them "Pussies" because they prefer playing WITHOUT monsters.

Yes I play on peaceful most of the time. If i wanted to kill things, I would go play the hundreds of other games that have much better combat systems.
Maybe it will help if you whine about it some more.
.
Hard mode Hardcore here. You die you lose the world, been playing that way since day one.
