I have noticed lately that minecraft is sooo slow. I mean, superearth had 14 people on during peak time! I average around 6 people when i used to be able to pull 30.... What happened? It makes no sense. Did people just get sick of minecraft :/

School did just start for most people, so everyone is easing back into school. I know that for the first week or two of school (not always counting weekends), people don't play as much, because they have to get used to school again...

I leave a game open in my basement, running IC, on a map with a giant nuke, so I can say "Don't make me blow up the nuke in my basement, I will"
I noticed the same thing with a few of the servers I play on. When I first joined, they would have at least 80 people on every day. Now, two months later, they are lucky to get 10, some which got 30 on a daily basis, don't even get one player. This is most likely, in my opinion because they no longer wanted to pay for ads or sponsorship on listing sites, so less people knew about and less joined, and since less joined others didn't want to be on it because they wanted to be on a populated server. Server population is like the economy, it has ups, and it has downs. Some better than others if you want servers to survive, take it upon yourself to join a low populated server, get your friends to join. This would make the server larger, more well known, more populated and more desirable.
This. All the little kiddies are focused on their studies. Judging by some of the people who play Minecraft, it's not such a bad thing.
Not just little kiddies, hun. Some of us adults just started our fall semester in college too.

Well my friend, school is just starting up for most people, which means lots of homework for us high-schoolers. Minecraft will probably have a lot more people on during the night, as opposed to the day.

I am ninja'd far too often.
No, just kidding. That was Herobrine.
Wait... he doesn't exist.
Who killed Minecraft...? I think it's safe to say that it was public education.
Also remember that school is going to end for other people as well.
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeyup

Interesting. I know people that do that, but they generally don't do well in school as a result xP
My parents yell at me more in the summer.
