So I was wandering in the survial mode and wondered how would I able to relocate without moving anything but my chests, So this happend becuase creeper blew up every thing but my chests, I wonder if there is a dolly mod for 1.8, I am playing on 1.8, but really. Is there a mod that can pick up chests for 1.8 or no one has made a mod for that yet.
I wonder if there is like a mod that has a uniqe was of moving chests with all the contents spilling.
I don't think there has ever been such a mod, mods typically tend to add their own stuff instead of directly improving on existing vanilla items. At any rate, whatever's out there probably hasn't been updated to 1.8 yet nor do I think there's any that debuted in the 1.8 series.
If you're trying to figure out a way to move all of your stuff from your chest to a new location the safest way..
Use an ender chest! Place one in your old home, put all your valuables in it, and then go to where you wish to relocate and then place a second ender chest, all of your items will be in there for you to take out

Yeah that is the best way to relocate your most valuable items.
If you need to relocate a very long ways I also recommend a nether portal network. You can travel between both places 8 time faster. Learning how portals work and locating them properly can be difficult to grasp at first, but very rewarding once you do.

Hmm.. this seems challenging. I didn't know you could make a nether portal network!

No problem, that's what the forums are for!
Waypoints aren't necessary with coordinates. You can easily use x, y, z cords to locate anything you've made in the world, or anything that you find that you wish to go back and explore. It's impossible to get lost on the surface once you write down the cords for wherever your current home is. Pressing F3 will show you your current cords without a mod. (You can download a mod that will always display your cords)
Remember that traveling a certain way will change the cords accordingly: North decreases Z, South increases Z, East increases X, West decreases X. Y increases and decreases depending on what level you are standing on. It determines how deep you are in the ground, or how high you are up on a mountain. Which is mostly useful for determining how deep you need to go when making mines, or exploring caves for rarer ores.

You could always use TNT on what you have now, and start over when you get to where you are going. Take only what you have to have. For some of us, starting out is the funnest part anyway.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..

If it is a short distance there is an easy solution. Hoppers. They aren't mods.
Watch out for the crabocalypse. Some say the day will never come. But it will.
Feel free to drop by for a chat whenever.
If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Rocket League
Fallout series
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.
