Looks really nice! And i have to say, if you build most of the stuff in your post, then that is very impressive for only one month playing! Love the Inn.
I like the texture pack too, never seen it before, got some original stuff in it. The only thing that should be done is adding a little more color to the water.

Thank you!
To be more clear I have been on the PC version for less than a month. I have a son who has the console version that I have played on before off so I was familiar with some of the mechanics of the game. And yes I did build everything I posted pictures of myself except the road was a collaborative effort.
I really enjoy the texture pack as well and am surprised that so few people even know what it is. And I agree 100% on the water statement. I wonder if he left them alone because a lot of people use shader mods (i think that is what makes water look so real) but I have not moved on to knowing how to add a mod to the game. Plus as the world is on minecraft realms currently I do not think I could even use a mod if I wanted to.
I had a lot of learning to do as we gained more members on the realm and with them came more adventure and exploration that has limited my villages progress. I learned the hard way about beds in the nether, reading a map while mounted on a mule and moving (lava pool) and many others.
I was given the seed number by the realm owner as well 4014386984536885950
I still have so much to do! As usual we have a few spots open on the Minecraft realms server and if you are interested in wanting to join our world feel free to message me or better yet follow this link to the realm thread "We Three Kings"
**removed bulk of the post as the images are broken**
I managed to get some work done of the village this weekend. I do not have a ton of experience with interior design but I decided to tackle the biggest building currently in the village; the Inn from the first post. I also made some progress on the stream and grove of large oaks I want to surround the village as well as starting the framing of a handful of new structures in a similar style as the inn.
Added a couple of Lion statues that flank the main road into Solace as I am going on Lions in lore and such. Do you guys prefer one color over the other?
I love the statues! Thank you for placing your reference.
Going to follow this thread from now on.
Thank you for the feedback and for following my progress. I try to link and give credit to everyone who inspired me or whose designs I used in my village. (there are a lot)
Update: I am slowly moving my photos from photobucket to other image sharing sites such as Imgur. Sorry about the broken pictures but I will edit them out and replace them with the new links before too long.
Game update: Almost completed the town hall, really need to finish the spire at the top and do landscape around it. The third picture I planted a giant spruce so you can see how tall the structure is.
The smithy (so i do not have to post it as an attachment)
Hello everyone this week has been busy for me but I managed to upload some early renders for how solace looks currently... well kind of... Chunky only allows one resource pack to be loaded at a time so what you see is just the basic Ornate 5 core pack. (I am merging my resource packs today so future images and renders will be how they appear to me in game.
Clicking on the larger images will take you to imgur where you can see a much detailed image.
These are my very first attempts at using chunky to render in 3d so I hope to increase the quality in the future for when I take the time to render images.
Hello everyone update time. Lots of stuff going on in Solace as you will see!
I have been blending resource packs recently to get more of a look that I am after. The base is still very much Ornate 5RR but I have change a handful of blocks with conquests and also swapped most of the villagers for conquests. The main reason is I wanted to be able to make paths more easily. This has turned into another project as I have been updating a lot of files to give me biome specific doors that I like as well as dogs. (I will have a doberman for my village like I do in real life darn it!)
I will come back and edit this post to give credit for any designs that inspired me later today.
New Homes
New Home by the Inn
New Home by the Town Hall
Edit: Noticed I am missing an upside down spruce stair when I looked at these myself!
Gazebo
Just a shot of the gazebo near the stream and bridge crossing towards the tomb
Early Tomb Pics
The light inside the underground tomb without the fires triggered. Behind the sitting lion statues is a redstone iron gate that opens and closes via button currently but I will change it to trigger on either lighting or putting out one of the fires or perhaps making it trigger when you drop a rose on the alter.
Lighting with the fires triggered
P.S. Building a barrow complex with tombs below a sand hill is a pain.
View from inside looking towards the enterence. The grass area in directly across the stream behind the Inn.
My lion statue is based off of racecorseorange's lion statue which was based off of LetsLente's original statue.
Dockside & Industry
A rather large ship is going up in the harbor thaty is based off this one that was built just downstream past the savanna.
The lumber warehouse that flanks the large crane that looks like it is unloading wooden logs. It also has a built in pully system for lifting and lowering logs for import and export. The last image is of Bat Island a colony my friend is building and who ships the logs to solace to be worked and how I get most of my wood for building solace. You can see the barge loaded with logs. You can see the Oak, Dark Oak, Spruce tree forests around the island.
Small merchant stalls that need a lot of detail work done. Each one has an NPC villager inside that trades in what is shown in frames above each stall. You can see how I got them inside via rail lines. Not pictures is the 2 armorers and 2 weapon smiths inside the smithy I built earlier.
My attempt at making my fugly auto furnace system into something more natural for Solace.
You can see that giant sandstone eyesore for a ways away and it started to really bother me. I did not want to get rid of it and as it is a redstone machine it is quite large... First thing I do is make a temp staircase of sand to get up and down then place the logs to show the pitch of the roof. (also I use sand to make it much easier)
She is still a monster but at least now she blends in a bit more and I can keep my furnace system without having to move it. You can see another pulley system on this one hauling up ore to feed the smelting system.
And lastly a render of the southside that I never seem to show you. You can see the elevation change (6-7 total) from the docks to the ground level that the Inn is built on.
The updated village map. If you compare it to previous versions of the map you will notice many of the small villager homes have been removed and replaced with new structures. I have about 12 done currently.
Below is three different views of the revamped library and with an added 3rd floor with alchemy lab and arboretum / mini botanical garden and water source blocks for filling all those glass bottles.

You've exceeded the bandwidth on your screenshots so they're no longer showing.
The BEST way to mine diamond, layer 12 and you.
I find it hard to imagine that I have exceeded 10GB of data in 3 days when in 8 years I never have exceed the limit before
I will start posting them as attachments till I get switched to a different site. Will check out Imgur. In the meantime here is the Smith house/shop.

Thank you for the feedback Rodentrage! I got chunky to get a 2d map working and later learned about the renders by... well... clicking on the 3d tab
