I wanted to start building castle like walls around my new base area. But I don't want to use the typical
It looks to generic for my liking. Yes I know about the "Stairs" technique aswell, but it still looks to generic for my liking.
Has anybody got a nice unique type design for the walls?
Here is what my wall looks like.
If you really want to make em look good make the pathways out of smoothstone, half step smooth stone, or wood or anything else you maybe interested in. If I were to make them larger I would expand their width and give them a more complex design.
The design is as follows:
The ladders are in the towers and there are steps at each end that come from the interior of the castle walls.

Now these points of data make a beautiful line...
11 blocks thick, obsidian insulated, 22 blocks tall, lots of torches, very defendable, sizable interior - the walls were practically a castle on their own. I'll post back when I come up with a new design that's both ascetically pleasing and functional.
