I'm planning something, but I need a redstone circuit to go vertical. I understand logics pretty well, but still new to redstone. (Sorta a person who knows the theory, but never know how to execute it.)
Any help or diagram will be appreciated. And thanks in advance. :happy.gif:
Alternately, make a 2x2 (viewed from above) spiral. The blocks only touch each other along their edges, so you have to lay in and then remove dummy blocks to connect them. It takes up more room but has the advantage of using less inverters. I try to use as few inverters as I possibly can, because I figure the fewer extra calculations the game has to make, the better, especially in big redstone projects that are always running. Also you can use these as makeshift stairways in your crowded 'machine rooms'.
In tight spaces though, sometimes the stacked torches method is the only way to go. You can put the 1x1 stacked torches/blocks directly adjacent to each other and they don't cross wires ('cause there aren't any).
