While they share the same purpose (Circuit Compression), our suggestions have a few fundamental differences: - (For the sake of organization, my suggestion will be called Colorstone, and his will be Bluestone)
- "Bluestone has the exact same properties as redstone, but doesn't interact with redstone in any way."
- Colorstone is identical to Redstone, but the two can still indirectly power each other. Bluestone is completely separate from Redstone, whereas Colorstone is "channel" based.
- Bluestone has its own unique set of Redstone items (Bluestone Torch, Bluestone Repeater (?)) that does not interact with Redstone. Colorstone acts like a "layer", and works with preexisting Redstone contraptions.
- Bluestone is mined and/or fused, whereas Colorstone is created through dyes. Now granted, he could've come up with a recipe like mine (Block + Dye) had he posted his suggestion later, but this fact still remains.
While our suggestions share a similar goal and names (Bluestone = Color + Stone. Most people associate Blue as the opposite of Red, and Green belongs to the RGB spectrum.), they are still pretty different, at least from what I can see.
