Do Minecraft mobs really differ a lot? Sure they have diffrent, original attacks, and spawn rates. But they all put me in situations that feel somewhat similar. Mob in a cave? Fight it. Mob in the Nether? Fight it. Have low health? Run. We need a creature that changes the players reactions to encountering mobs. The Wyvern. This mob will have as much health inbetween Blaze and Iron golem, I haven't determined what yet. This mob spawns in caves, it flies, much like the Ender Dragon, except in a more closed radius. They'd spawn less frequently than most mobs. Often times it will lie next to a chest filled with gold (based on ancient legends of dragons) This mob appears in multiple colors based on its abilities.
RED: Medium agility, low defense, high attack. Big as iron golem.
BLUE: High agility, medium defense, medium attack. Big as player.
GREEN: Low agility, high defense, low attack. Bigger than iron golem
BLACK: High agility, medium defense, high attack. Bigger than Green Dragon.
UNDEAD: (BOSS) Insane agility, high defense, high attack. Slightly smaller than Ender Dragon.
The Undead Dragon appears as a greenish black, with multiple scars scattered across its body. It limps slowly while on the ground, as a counter of its insane flying ability. It walks more often than other Wyverns, because of its torn wings. It'll drop a chest filled with swords, treasures, and a lot of other rare treasures.
The wyverns will often sleep near the entrance to a cavern, with the exception of the Undead dragon. The undead dragon can be summoned with the Ender Dragon Egg. Place the Egg, and then surround it with zombie heads, and finally, drop a piece of rotten flesh in the middle. It's complicated ritual, because its power over the Ender Dragon.
NO. There's only one of those. If someone has this in Multiplayer, they're the only one that has access to the undead wyvrens. Hell, they're the only one who ever will, if the ritual can only done once. (Not to mention the GRINDING to fight the damn thing).
In short: Nice premise, bad execution for the colored wyvrens (does not accomplish intention), awful execution for the undead wyvren (does not accomplish intention, requires a one-of-a-kind item, requires grinding).
