I often try to ask that people use the enter key, pressing it liberally twice after every paragraph so that people that are reading your suggestion don't have any trouble tracking where they are in the suggestion. This is unfortunately never followed so many readers get lost in the sea of text. It's so bad, readers can accidentally read the same line twice or think they've read something over again. In fact, It's so bad, readers can accidentally read the same line twice or think they've read something over again. Because of this, I ask that people add white space to whatever they type. It's not hard, press enter twice, right on the keyboard, takes less time than most of their ill-formed thought-abortions except with extra care so that people can read. I mean, who doesn't like being understood right? But no, they have to go out of their way to create the most obnoxious wall of rambling text they possibly can without the slightest of concerns for their fellow readers. I mean, it's enough to make even me go "you know what, homey? tl;dr, lrn2format plox" but I don't because I'm not that type of critic. So instead I usually ask that people press enter twice. Nice response to that, and having encountered things like this I just highlight(select) what I have alreeady read. But even so, text walls are annoying.

Also take a look at this guide if you are requesting builders for a server/project.
Please note, if I deny a suggestion because it is already possible, then I mean it is already possible withing 10 command blocks (That do not spawn other command blocks) or up to 5 creations (Command blocks that spawn other command blocks) to make your suggestion.
If I critique your suggestion I am not hating on you. Learn the difference.

You know who can tell me something I already know? Me. All the time. I'm really good at telling me stuff I already know. I don't need help in that department. I don't know about others, but I can't imagine I'm alone here.
A nice guide in terms of content, but could you tone down the rude factor a bit? Thanks.
I'm not sure if that's possible. Often people simply find cold truth to be rude where its an unavoidable jagged pill. Even if theriasis were to tone it down, she couldn't ever just get rid of it because the truth sucks; no matter how you try to sugarcoat it.
...I see. I was just reading through the guide and felt like it insulted everyone under 13. What's more is that what you said might be true to an extent, but I don't think entirely. It could be "sugarcoated" (though that word should probably be avoided, as it's not sugarcoating it so much as NOT putting in a bunch of unneeded rudeness) a bit more, I feel. Also, has anyone else noticed the fact that "retarded" doesn't actually mean stupid, that it's a word for mentally disabled? Some people... >:l

Well, I'll put it like this. If you read a sign that says that cookies are bad; you'd be offended if you happened to have a cookie in your mouth at the time. If you're offended, you're paying attention. If you're offended, you're the target audience. While much of what's written here is heavy fisted; there's a lot of truth and common sense behind it.
I use the term sugar coating for any situation where you'd attempt to add delicacy to a topic. People should take their truth in the raw, unabridged; without the bloat of filler. There's a time for tact, and a topic suffering from thread bloat is not one of them. Could they take some time to rewrite a few sections to be less rude? Sure. But in the same time, the target readers (who are expected to be offended) can also put on them big boy pants and grow some thick skin.
i have a question.
Say that there's an old, possibly very old suggestion that at one point, was very favored, but the user who had created it is no longer active. Are we allowed to remake the thread and update it to meet what the game is currently like, as long as we credit the old creator?

That's actually more of a question for mods. :/
From personal recollection, you can recreate a thread if the old thread has been dead for over a month (at least from what I interpreted from the rules.) Though I would honestly rather see the old thread brought back with an earnest attempt at debate. Just saves so much headache and work and reduces the amount of topics on this forum.

Yeah, I'm an absolutely terrible person, but the rudeness gets the point across better than if I was being all "professional" and dainty. Even though you got some points, I'm still gonna leave the nasty stuff in the guide.

I don't know why, but after about 15 minutes of reading through this, I burst out laughing because I found your annoyance funny XD But in all seriousness, I will try to follow this guide as best as I can (there's quite a lot to remember)!
