The Ender species seems woefully incomplete. Having the End become a full-fledged realm would lead to many more Ender mobs. However, a new item would have to be used to find the Enderdragon's cave. Any ideas for new Ender creatures? Here are mine:
Endercreepers - Blows up. New Ender particle effects maybe for explosions.
Ender Archers - Give them Ender Pearls and they will be friends with you and shoot at enemies. Hurt them, and they're like skeletons. NPC village-like structures where they live.
Ender Golems - Wander aimlessly in the End. Act like zombie pigmen if provoked, but are more powerful.
Enderbats - Small flying mobs that can be found in caves. Relatively weak, but are in large groups.
The Ender should be a corruption that can infect mobs that are within a certain distance of an Enderman for a certain amount of time, and when corrupted the mob will look as though someone has thrown a bucket of tar at it from the side, with purple eyes. The Ender Corruption would grant them the ability for short-range teleportation (CREEPERS!).
Uhh, its only meant for fighting the Dragon, or what?
Can you go back there after you have killed the dragon and it doesnt spawn?
If new mobs were added, then the End would have some item used to find the Enderdragon's den, maybe an Ender Compass. The dragon spawns once per world though. Otherwise there would be too much XP abuse.
In response to austin7654, I think a reskinned spider with new abilities would work better than a completely new entity, but everything else sounds fine to me.
Minecart_Fan, I'm not so sure tar is a good idea, but maybe Enderslimes poison you when they hit you.
Endermites - Small rock monsters. If ores are added to the End, then they would hide next to valuable ore and attack if the rock is mined. They appear to be stalagmites of end stone.
Enderfairies - Jerks that teleport you to the nearest hostile mob if you destroy something, maybe End trees.
I was thinking something like poison darts or some kind of energy ball.
edit:also iceyy981, a reskined spider wouldn't really fit in my opinion, spider legs look to stumpy to me and when they climb they just look like there smashing there face into a wall, not climbing(which doesn't fit for a mob that stays on walls
They travel underground, raising the terrain forming little hills. Whenever a mob is sight, they raise in speed and jump up to swallow the mob in a single bite. Extremely hard to defeat, and only very rarely travels in a pack.
normal form: big, slow, has a lot of health, takes reduced damage from attacks(about 1-2 hearts), only hurt by attacks, unaffected by arrows, hides in its shell when attacked(its invincible when inside), comes out a few seconds after whatever attacked it goes away, its shell can only be broken by a diamond pick(but it takes as long as obsidian).
attack form: it takes this form when its shell is broken, its appearance looks like like a reskined enderturtle without a shell, its much faster(a little faster then the player), has less max health, does considerable damage, will not stop following the one who broke its shell until someone else hits it or it dies.
baby/domesticated form: looks similar to the other to the other two forms depending on how its raised, both kinds are omnivores(to regain health they either eat some nearby tall grass or you can feed them meat)
If its raised by having it carrying items(and giving it a shell block) it will look like the normal form, be invulnerable to environmental damage(it will pretty much act like a normal turtle but follows you and its shell can't be broken), they can carry items for you(about as much as a double chest)
If you raise them by having them kill passive mobs they'll grow up into a a.f.turtle(pretty much a wolf but with the a.f. stats)
both forms look like cuter versions of there wild brethren, follow you like wolfs, when right clicked it opens up there inventory (like the players normal inventory) where they can be equipped with armor and a saddle so you can ride them(carriers have a large inventory space where as attackers have only one storage slot), they can be told to stay, follow, and other commands
drops:
n.f.: turtle meat(common 90%) shell shard(same chance as a gold nugget from a pigman) intact shell(extremely rare .1%)
a.f.:turtle meat(very common 100%) turtle fang(uncommon 60%) turtle egg(rare 10%)
d.f.:anything they had on them plus some turtle meat(if they where a carrier you get some shell shards, if it was a attacker you get a turtle fang)
items:
turtle meat: basically zombie meat, can be cooked to get rid of the food poison or crafted into turtle soup like this:
:Bacon:= turtle meat
pretty much just normal soup but with a defense buff(.5-1.5 hearts)
shell shard: can be used for tools/armor, stronger than diamond(and much more durability), nine shards can be crafted into a shell block.
shell block:can be used to make shell armor(for you or your pet turtle), about as strong as obsidian,, the blocks can then be used for armor or further combined in to a shell, give to a baby turtle to make it a baby carrier
intact shell:obtained either as a rare drop or crafted, can be made into turtle armor which is better than shell armor, most mobs will think your a turtle and will be neutral towards you, put on adult carriers
turtle fang:can be used to make bone tools for when you run out of wood(equivalent to iron), bone tools are made like normal tools but with bones instead of sticks.
turtle egg: can be thrown like a chicken egg with a 1/8 chance of hatching a baby enderturtle.
That is probably the most I have ever put in to one post.
FenderEnders! Ender Chuck Norris! Seriously, though even the new update decked out endies, I'm hungry for more ender thingis to kill. Maybe an ender that can teleport only through the ground and surprise you in the cave...
Where does the "ender" part come into play? Why not just add golems and bats? Not endergolems and enderbats considering they don't have anything in common with endermen.
People say the mob suggestion I made (linked in Sig.) is very similar to endermen XD
Derp
Anyways, Making the End overpopulated would make it immensely more difficult to fight off the dragon, as you'd be constantly attacked, and have no time to pay attention to mister dragonface to come up and chomp your flesh off.

I'm thinking that after you kill the dragon and leave,if you can come back and there would be bridges that lead to other floating islands that are populated by these new mobs.

The End would have some sort of item which leads to a portal to find the Enderdragon's den. After finding the portal, it would lead to the current End landform where you fight the Enderdragon. The new End would be like the regular world in terms of infiniteness.

Wow. That could work well as a boss, but the items seem sorta... complicated...

To tell you the truth, that's not a bad idea. I dunno why I made them End creatures, but they would work as overworld or nether mobs too. (Nether Brick Golems?) I just made them Ender creatures because only two End mobs seems sorta small. Then again, there are only four mobs in the Nether.
edit:also iceyy981, a reskined spider wouldn't really fit in my opinion, spider legs look to stumpy to me and when they climb they just look like there smashing there face into a wall, not climbing(which doesn't fit for a mob that stays on walls
lol, spider face-slam. If a reskinned spider was not used, then how would a spider-like but different mob look?
I only like the enderbats, we need flying swarm mobs. Reskinning vanilla mobs to look like endermen and letting them teleport is a bad idea, it feels stupid having an "enderslime". Turtles would be nice without being an endermob, the others are reskinned versions of mobs we already have(except the fairy, which makes no sense):
Endercreepers - Blows up. New Ender particle effects maybe for explosions.
Ender Archers - Give them Ender Pearls and they will be friends with you and shoot at enemies. Hurt them, and they're like skeletons. NPC village-like structures where they live.
Ender Golems - Wander aimlessly in the End. Act like zombie pigmen if provoked, but are more powerful.

Please click my dragon!
Look at the poll. I think you are mistaken.
Minecart_Fan, Enderslimes may work well. How about if small ones could combine into bigger ones?
Ender crawler
looks kind of like a daddy long legs but black and with a large purple eye.
usually seen crawling on walls(actually on the wall, not like how spiders climb)
can teleport to different spots like a enderman
shoots something at you(idk what yet)
pretty much all I can think of for this thing right now.

Enderworms
They travel underground, raising the terrain forming little hills. Whenever a mob is sight, they raise in speed and jump up to swallow the mob in a single bite. Extremely hard to defeat, and only very rarely travels in a pack.
the enderturtle, which has three forms
normal form: big, slow, has a lot of health, takes reduced damage from attacks(about 1-2 hearts), only hurt by attacks, unaffected by arrows, hides in its shell when attacked(its invincible when inside), comes out a few seconds after whatever attacked it goes away, its shell can only be broken by a diamond pick(but it takes as long as obsidian).

a boss that you can use as a walking chest? what kind of bosses have you been fighting?

enderarcher = skeleton
enderslime = slime
endercrawler = spider
endermite = silverfish
endercreeper = creeper
By your logic, we should have enderghasts, enderpigs, enderblases and endercows!
why not!
