Just dig down 2 blocks, throw your unwanted items in the hole, and place a block so that the hole is no longer visible, and the items are stuck underground. That's what I used to do when I got items I didn't want.
To be completely honest, I have wanted that trash button in the Survival inventory. I mean, you can just throw the items into lava or a cactus or where not, but this could be useful if you are on the go or want to rid of large amounts of unwanted items. I fully support this!
You could always chuck it into lava, but I'd support. It would be useful if I didn't have lava/cacti on hand. Although I feel like this belongs in small suggestions.
Trash button in survival lets you destroy the items you don't want!
It's called fire, lava, and cactus. Also you can throw stuff somewhere you don't normally travel and forget about it until it despawns.
I want
ocean content(thanks Möjang!),nether biomes(again thanks!!), and savanna passive mobs (meerkats incoming!?).Just dig down 2 blocks, throw your unwanted items in the hole, and place a block so that the hole is no longer visible, and the items are stuck underground. I would agree if it didn't invalidate making your own trash can out of cauldrons and hoppers and lava.
Why am I here
This sounds better as a small mod.
