Note first : sorry for bad language, but I am Thai.
My name is Porpiang, When I heard about Pocket and Console Edition will be taken to compatible a cross-platform system and use the Bedrock Engine.
But Java Edition (JE) is not? Why? Somebody tell me a reason!
I want to take JE to compatible with a cross-platform system and use the Bedrock Engine too! so please! Mojang! Microsoft! Take JE to compatible with cross-platform system! I want to use Bedrock Engine for JE too!
Microsoft doesn't want Java edition (Real Minecraft) to be compatible with everything else, as they cant squeeze money out of add-ons, paid mods, paid skins, etc. Also since they can't do this they have been blacklisting servers left and right, (except for partnered servers, of course) So you are forced to pay for Realms.

Well, you might be able to get the bedrock engine working with java... But if not, JE probably will die due to not getting much care from Mojang Microsoft.
But, remember; I only said probably. If Microsoft continues to update JE as if it was just regular pocket editionor console edition Minecraft, JE will still live, as opposed to TF2.
