In order to start this quest, you're going to need luck. First you have to find a Sealed Room, you can sometimes find one of these in an Ocean Monument.
If you couldn't guess, the Sealed Room is completely sealed so you have to complete the Ocean Monument in order to get in.
The only thing in this room is a Mirror, it covers two blocks like a banner and has a reflective surface. But it's a Cursed Mirror, which is unbreakable...sort of.
Right clicking the Cursed Mirror will spawn a new mini boss, the Dark Reflection. It has 50 Health and will turn into the player that hits it, the item that appears in its hand will change to whatever you're holding, and of course it'll have the same armor as you. It even does the same damage as you.
Defeating the Dark Reflection will cause the Cursed Mirror to shatter, allowing you to pick it up. The Shattered Cursed Mirror could make a great set piece for a Horror map.
But this quest isn't over yet. You can take the Shattered Cursed Mirror and place it in an Anvil with a Book/Sword to move the curse over.
You'll be left with a normal Mirror, that you can place wherever you want, and an item with the Curse of Reflections on it.
Right Clicking with a Sword that has the Curse of Reflections on it will summon a true boss: The Twisted Reflection. (Summoning the boss will destroy the sword with the Curse on it).
It has 100 health and, unlike the Dark Reflection, it doesn't copy you because you can choose its difficulty with what type of Sword you enchant with the Curse of Reflections.
It will always have a shield, sword, and armor. The shield can't really change but the material and strength will change based on the difficulty.
Wood: The Twisted Reflection will of course get a Wood Sword and Leather Armor.
Iron: An Iron Sword with Iron Armor.
Diamond: A Diamond Sword with Diamond Armor.
Gold: This material strengthens the Curse. Causing the boss's health to increase to 200 and increase it's strength by 1.5. Becoming more than just a reflection.
No matter what difficulty you choose, the boss will still use its shield to protect itself so it'll still be a threat.
Damaging the Twisted Reflection will cause its armor to break down and eventually break its shield. With every heart of damage, the Twisted Reflection will get darker and darker until it turns pitch black.
Defeating the Twisted Reflection will drop the sword it had, a sword with the Reflected Enchantment on it. It's a normal sword to a Reflection but to you, it's a different story. Attacking with this Reflected sword will reflect your attacks, hitting enemies from behind as well as the front. The Reflected attack isn't as strong, only doing 1 damage multiplied by the Enchantment Level.
The Enchantment Level will be decided by the difficulty of the boss. (Wood: Level 1, Iron: Level 2, Diamond: Level 3, and Gold: Level 4)
Defeating a Twisted Reflection of Gold difficulty will cause drop 2 more Gold Reflected Swords.
This negates knock back and does more damage but you can't fix this sword through normal methods and it will already be damaged when you get it. Since the Sword is just a reflection, the only way to fix this sword is by putting it in an anvil with a Sword or Book that has the Curse of Reflections or the Reflected Enchantment (the Reflected Enchant only partially fixes it, the Curse will completely fix it).
You know, this isn't a wretched idea, I do hold a few tweaks though
1. That sword is to gimmicky, it sounds like these enchantments will be pretty rare, and that the curse enchantment is easier to get then the other one, so shouldn't it repair less? So I would just make it a normal sword
Secondly, the reflection sword seems like it would either A. Do nothing as the enemy would be invulnerable, or B. Make the foe invulnerable to you next attack, I would recommend making it so that the damage of the sword increases based on how much you take with X armor, based on level, so if I have a level 1 sword and something would hit me for 5 hearts in diamond, my sword would hit for an extra 5 hearts, while if I had a gold sword with level 4, than if something hit me for 5 hearts with no armour than it would do an external 5 hearts
I don't think this will fit into minecraft, especially as there are no mirrors as of yet. But the overall boss Idea could be used in another place, like a zombie pigman boss in the nether or something.
