These textures would be useful for builders. But I can't imagine how a log could be physically converted into a slab or stair. I think it should be log fences only. Perhaps the horizontal bars should use different textures though. Support Pending

What? Making fences that look like that would be incredibly hard compared to the slab and stair.
Support. I have wanted these for years.

In the image, the slab and stair blocks have bark on all sides. It doesn't make sense to have the bark seamlessly bent over the partial block. But fences are occasionally made by tying thin tree trunks together irl. It is weird for minecraft logs to be shrunk to fulfill this purpose, but many features of minecraft are incorrectly sized on purpose.
I could get behind these blocks if they were only naturally occurring in trees, possibly unobtainable in survival (by only dropping normal logs) but available in the creative inventory.

Oh my mistake, I thought they had the cut side texture on the top parts. I couldn't see it properly on my phone lol.
I don't support unless the tops and bottoms of there use the end texture for each log.

Yeah, this doesn't look good. It doesn't blend well with the shape. I can see some use for it, but very, very, little. I'd much rather something like sandstone bricks or granite/andesite/diorite stairs/slabs.
I am kinda on the edge here, i mean i love those, but if the didn't have the log-top texture from above and below, i don't think i'll use them, overall Partial Support

Not knowing how a log could be converted into stairs or slabs means you must think Minecraft is realistic and should stay so. News Flash: Minecraft is not realistic anyway so your argument has little weight. I like this idea. Approved.

Most of the things added to the game are made as realistic as possible. the only things that are not realistic are the things that don't exist in real life, such as...
Monsters.
Golems.
Creepers.
& Other made-up things that
are made for the purpose of
making the game more fun
that the real world stuff
Everything else is made as close as possible to their real-world counterparts. (Without taking the fun out of the game)
(It's a 78.6% realistic based game). (1.7 0r 1.9 data)

My Suggestions
No. Those look EXTREMELY ugly. It should have a more unique design rather than the log texture.
Opposed.
That's your opinion I think they look sick

I think the screenshot were taken before 1.8. But Mojang can fix that easily.

People it's just a badly made resource pack I made so if you want the texture changed I'm adding a poll for that
