What is wrong with the suggestion? I need more detail than just "there's something wrong with it".

Also, I don't have textures as of now. Broccoli_Monkey may be working on it though.

Also, you should be able to have curved detector, powered, and activator rails. Just like the normal rails.

This was something I thought minecraft needed. I'm not a huge fan of all the different types though, I think just the normal kind should be enough. It would also be cool to include some sort of functionality where the crossrail allows the minecart to stop on it and rotate. This would make it better for junctions.

It Seems like a good and needed idea

Part of me wants this to happen automatically when you make a track cross another. But this way works, too. Either way, I am in support of crossrails.

Support. Nice textures Broccoli_Monkey, I can't think of a reason this isn't in the game yet.

I have wanted to see these in game for a couple of years now, it would not only be better functionality for minecarts in vast mines, but also for dungeon setups too. the only thing I would like to see along with this is a proper switch track, basically instead of how track switches now when you put redstone to it (going either curved left or curved right) a switch track would go curved or back straight.
