This mod adds a new armor slot on the player's inventroy GUI. You can add any clothing in those vanity slots. "Tahts wey too OoP! Noo suporrt!", some of you may say. But no, clothings and vanity suits put in the vanity slots will add no defense, so basically, they're just for looking good and nice. It covers most of your real armor. "Tats sttil too op!", some of you may say again, this is configurable and, if your armor is long and your vanity is short, the armor may still be seen, beware. This is configurable by the command /showrealarmor (player's name) True. If you want all players: /showrealarmor all True. If this command is activated, you will see their real armor, but won't have an effect on them when they see themselves. There will also be a button on settings that may let you allow vision of other player's "inside" or real armor (thanks herobrine123x_!)
Vanity clothings may be found in dungeons, strongholds, can be bought from the clothier (npc, will be explained further later), a rare/uncommon drop from mobs (thanks TheqoreeZ!), from Mineshafts or from the blacksmith chests. Some are craftable, while some can only be found in chests or from villagers. It doesn't allow you to put armors on it, as others might have said, that it can be abused. In multiplayer servers, especially PVP servers, they should not allow vanity slots, which can be configurable also when making a server. Dyed leather armors cannot be put in vanity slots.
There will be a new NPC, called the "Clothier". He looks just like a normal villager with a red suit, red hat and some beautiful accessories. He sells vanity items, which are uncraftable like familiar clothes (looks just like your skin), white tuxedo, mob costumes, mining clothes, colored threads and more! There will also be another NPC called the "Dye trader", he wears a blue robe and some accessories, looks and acts like a normal villager. He sells different dyes.

I feel like this is going to be abused. You could wear diamond armor, and cover it up with diamond colored leather armor, to camouflage any spots that do show up. You wouldn't be able to properly judge youre opponents.
No support.
Well, yes it can, but as I've said, it can be seen using a command. And, by the way, "won't" and "your".
Meh, EnderCreeper does take out some good points, I'de hate to see the PVP aspect to be ruined by this feature.
I don't think it's necessary, if you don't fight, you can wear some colored leather armor, if your fighting put on some actual diamond armor don't mix up the two.

Yes, I'll try to make ideas for that. Thanks for the 25% support anyways!
English isn't my first language. i apologize for any errors I make while typing.
'It can be seen using a command' really doesn't balance it out. If you happen to be on, for example, a PVP server you probably won't be able to use commands or change gamerules. You would have no way of telling what kind of opponent you're facing.
It's ok, English isn't my first language too. Well, about the command, I'll try to come up with new ideas about it especially in PVP multiplayer. Thanks anyways!
Maybe different "Vanity" armor? Not just equipping normal armor. And a little flag that says whether or not theyre actually wearing an armor, like diamond.
Sooooo...why should we have this if we already have skins?...
I think it's to cover up your armor so you don't like your average Joe Bob wearing iron.

My Avatar is a Dalek, therefor your argument is... EXTERMINATED!!!
You know who can tell me something I already know? Me. All the time. I'm really good at telling me stuff I already know. I don't need help in that department. I don't know about others, but I can't imagine I'm alone here.
Actually I'd prefer to wear skins OVER Armor...like you have a skin but unless playing creative always wear armor so nobody can actuall see it. I always found that pretty dumb. But additional slots to pimp armor with armor...no.
Note the use of the word: Vanity... It means just for decoration. It's an aesthetic. Maybe something like a familiar armor.
I think NPC's should trade some vanity, others found from dungeons and strongholds and maybe uncommon drops from a wither or ghast.

This seems like an okay idea, although i'm not too keen on it since Minecraft combat is almost solely gear-based. I guess one could say Terraria is too, but this sort of system works for Terraria because you can pretty much expect anyone in Terraria PvP to have top-tier gear (since you can develop a character to the highest tiers in singleplayer, then join a PvP server with that character; not so in Minecraft because characters are bound to worlds there unlike Terraria).
Quarter support.

Mobs actually being varied???
