12w37a SuperFlat Custom Presets

    This one is pretty cool.....
    1;48,50x0,73,3x0,12;8

Might be a bit laggy after you do the first block update and the sand starts to fall.
Dig through the first layer and the nether is below. I set the amount of air so the ghasts could spawn on the top layer as well.

    For a very artificial-looking world—even the bedrock.

Give a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day.

Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

    I kinda like this one:
    1;7,2x9,30x0,46,13,72,18,13;1

    From bottom to top:
    1xBedrock
    2xWater
    30xAir
    1xTNT
    1xGravel
    1xPressure Plate (Wooden)
    1xLeaves
    1xGravel

It's a self destructive world. It starts as soon as you destroy the first leaves Block. Does not lags the Computer

That last one's pretty cool. In fact, when I tried it, a village spawned not far from me, and the testificates were stupidly walking all over the pressure plates, hurting themselves. Despite the water, there seemed to be a bit of building damage as well. The seed is -8533567695617183650, and you can find the village near X=-700, Z=500.

Also, here's another cool preset I made: 1;7,2x10,0,60x20;8 It's several layers of glass on top of lava, and it just looks cool when you "dig" through the glass.

Here's some screenshots of both that preset and the village.

EDIT: AyrA, I tried your preset as well (in the post above this one) and that's just awesome.

    1 layer of grass
    1 layer of wood
    1 layer of stone
    1 layer of iron ore
    1 layer of diamond
Either nothing or lava below (with nothing below the lava)

    Or:
    1 layer of pressure plate
    1 layer of sand
    nothing below.

Did you ever want to write in colours in Minecraft? Or type random ASCII characters? Wanted to do this on a Server? Check out this mod suggestion! [Special characters mod]

Heres a cool one I made up:

    1;7,10x10,6x88,6x87,20x0,89,6x87,7;8

This will give u a flat version of the nether. :VV:

To play on survival, just remove the last 7 and the comma next to it. (Remove 6x87[,7];8) This will remove the bedrock layer on top.

Dig straight down when u spawn.

Can someone explain this syntax to me, I don't quite get how it works and why there are semi colons only in one or two spots.
There doesn't appear to be a correlation between the numbers.

This one is really cool. It was posted in the custom maps forum but I think it needs to be posted in this thread with all the other great presets: 1;7,56,1,49,14,73,15,49,16,4x1,32x24,5x12;2
    http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1479183-

The idea here is to trade with the villagers for a diamond pickaxe so you can mine past the obsidian to the good ore. You also have to go from town to town to find a sappling. Each world generates differently so posting cords will do no good. The first render I tried, I walked for what seemed like forever and no sapling. The second world I generated I found a sappling in the third village and while I was just making a First Impression for my site, wouldn't you know it, the first town I found had a sappling!
    "sans-serif">

Anyway, try this preset, it's so much fun. Oh, and don't start with a bonus chest as that defeats the whole purpose of the map.
