The villagers have developed new housing technology. Their new houses consume much more cobblestone than other houses, but studies have shown that 100% of all villagers survive a zombie siege while inside such a house. However, they still have not invented the concept of an "elevator", resulting in various hilarious deaths when they stride out the door... and land in a horde of hungry zombies.
EDIT: There's a desert well and a pumpkin patch near the village, close to the edge of the desert.
The "castle" is a normal, albeit over tall, church.
There's a small cave at -238, 259 with surface coal.
AT -326, 117 is a small ravine that, at it's south end connects to a much deeper underground ravine that goes down to y=15.
If you go to -433.7, 63.0 , 820.5 EXACTLY and dig straight down you will SAFELY end up at the southern stronghold at y=43.
The stronghold intersects a couple of small caves or ravines and an abandoned mine to the east.
There seems to be a flooded library at -372,29,818. ????
OBTW - I'm using Minutor and Amidst to find this stuff. They are both stand-alone programs and are not Minecraft mods.
Minutor reads your MC world save files to map what you've actually generated.
Amidst generates a world map from the seed data of an MC generated world or from a seed you enter WITHOUT actually generating a world.

It kind of gives you a headstart on building apartments to expand the village population!
Just a short way to the west is a mountain with a cool overhang. I also noticed an above-ground lava pit, I think NW of the village.
This will be great for my ETR seed list.
Short, easy-to-remember (ETR) seeds.
