Hey guys, this is one of the greatest seeds I've seen. Directly next to the smith in the town is a small hole, I followed it down and it's one of the hugest abandoned mineshafts I've ever seen. Abundance of all minerals and you don't even have to dig to get to them. Plenty of farms already set up around the village too so food is no problem. I haven't found a stronghold yet, but then again I'm not really looking.
I ran around in flatland a bit and found the town he was talking about, its a nice one to :smile.gif:. Lots of flat land (as you'd exspect with that seed name), havn't looked for the mineshaft yet but will do that soon. If your looking for the town its visable from this one awesome pond on the edge of a forest that changes into flat land. Might help you find it a bit.
Guys, this is legit! It is not an absolute spawn, but I have the coordinates of the village right here! X=151 Z=258. Also, I did this on version 1.8.1, if that makes a difference. Thanks a ton, lefty!!!

When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons! What the hell are these?! Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! WITH THE LEMONS! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that BURNS YOUR HOUSE DOWN!

1.8.1 is what i'm using as well. On and that epic shaft he was talking about... look for a small hole near the blacksmith's shop in town, like right next to it. Easly the most amazingly scary deep natural thing i've seen in the game.
And produces What?
This thread is three years old. The 1.8.1 they are talking about is BETA 1.8.1 which is several world generators away from the current Release version 1.8.1.
Amidst doesn't show any village anywhere near spawn when using "flatland" as a seed in PCMCv1.8.1.
EDIT: OBTW the numeric equivalent of "flatland" is "1626615012".
