I think it is real in fact Im swapping my jar file right now to 1.3 so i can look.

Its only 5x5 though....

This is in fact the first in the world. The guy with the iPod could not touch one pixel of the screen at a time. I also did not use minecarts I use pure redstone redstone torches and repeater. My touch screen can be programmed with added hardware. Even if the screen is just 5x5 the possibilities are endless. You can even make my touch screen play pong or you can walk a maze. This proves that my touch screen is in fact the only one. You can also look at the YouTube video I made for my 1st touchscreen it is earlier that that kids video. Sadly my first touch screen was deleted from monthly plot clean ups.

The concept is not new, That said, it may well be the best-implemented version of the concept posted to the internet.

Look, i looked ALL OVER THE INTERNET for something similar to my creation. I look on YouTube, the minecraft forums, even Google and i could not find any thing. I believe my touchscreen is the first & best ON THE INTERNET.

Calm down, I'm not criticizing you. By "concept" I meant using tripwires to make a grid connected to a display that somehow interacts with the grid. People have used this concept to make sketch pads, and possibly "touch screens" as you did, though I do not remember seeing that specifically. Yours is probably the best design on the internet, and may be the first "touch screen" on the internet (sorry but I don't like to talk in absolutes). All of that notwithstanding, this is an excellent accomplishment and you should be really proud. This is quite amazing.

was never clear to me, explaining my previous comments. I truly have not seen a physical touchSCREEN before.

From what I could divine from the pictures, the method of operation seems to be tripwire position detectors but placed directly above a Lamp-Floor which responds to the movement of the player. Is this correct?

Also, I'd lay off attacking the guy. Even if somebody thought of the concept for this machine before him, it seems clear that he created his device in ignorance of similar machines.

If you create something on your own which you've never seen before, that counts as "invention" in my book. He may be "late to the party" as it were, but he is an inventor nonetheless.

I will put for download once it is fully finished... i still need to tweak the memory and i also need to add 2 more programs when i finish all the tweaks and programs i will make it downloadable. but i will not work on it for a shot while

i will now start the update for the sketch pad program. instead of using SR latches i will use T-flip flops
