I am fairly new to posting on the forums so let me know if I'm doing anything wrong
I didn't see a section on command blocks so i just assume it's in with the redstone; hence, I'm posting here.
I am playing vanilla minecraft 1.7.4 and am trying to figure out the /playsound command. The thing is that when i enter the playsound command like this: "/playsound random.fuse myUsername" in the console, It says it played the sound but i hear nothing, my volume is turned all the way up. Is there something that changed in 1.7.4 that causes the syntax or the way the sound files are accessed (e.g. random.fuse) to be different?

There is an issue with some sounds. You can find working names in the "sounds.json" file in the Assets folder.

For the fuse, you have a couple options:
Both of which should work.
Minecraft-things: http://skylinerw.com
More Minecraft-things: https://sourceblock.net
Guides for command-related features (eventually moving to Source Block): https://github.com/skylinerw/guides
I primarily hang out in the /r/MinecraftCommands discord, where there's a lot of people that help with commands: https://discord.gg/QAFXFtZ
Their corresponding subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/MinecraftCommands/
Thank you so much! That worked.
