I am currently working on a redstone project that involves written books. The problem is that I can't figure out how to flexibly store information in written books without having to completely recreate the book. Is there any way, using commands, to modify the contents of a written book without overwriting any preexisting data? For example, a written book already has a page that says "hello." I want to use a command to add a page to that book that says "hi" without deleting the page that says "hello." I then want to be able to use that same command on a book that says "goodbye" instead of "hello." If somebody knows how to do this, can you please let me know?
The problem with that is if you use the same command on a book with "goodbye" you get a book with "hello" and "hi." I want something that does not affect the previous pages of the book and still adds new pages. I'm looking for a command that can be used on any book.
