I'm making an adventure map with my friend, but I would like to hide a lever within an area that when pressed, will open a door. I could just use regular redstone connections, but the area is very well decorated and I do not want the clutter of redstone anywhere in sight. Is there a way to open Iron Trapdoors / Iron Doors using command blocks?

setblock command to put a redstone block or torch underneath the door?
Hello everybody,

Under the lever place a command block that will place a redstone torch one block under the door.
Command:
/setblock x y z minecraft:redstone_torch 0 replace
X y z are the xoordinate of the block under the doors by to blocks/meters

Here's an interesting way to do doors with command blocks (not iron):
I'm still looking though for a tutorial using iron doors "and" also command blocks.
