Hey all - so I recently implemented the scoreboard on our server and we are displaying death count on Tab and kill count on the sidebar.
However, it only shows kills and deaths from the point of implementation, not the birth of the server.
Does anyone know a way to change this?
In Vanilla, the scoreboard will only begin receiving data once you set it up. The previous death counts would be in player stats that donot contribute to the new scoreboard function.
You can do it manually. Get the death score of each player (either by the game save or ask players) and use
/scoreboard players set Name Objective #
Where:
Name is the name of the player.
Objective is the name of your scoreboard.
# is the number of deaths.
Ah that's a handy tip!
So if I were to add 5 kills to my player and I already had 3 registered, I would simply run: /scoreboard players set jdab kills 8?
When you come to type your objective name, press the TAB button to auto-complete. Keep pressing it to scroll through the present scoreboards.
Alternatively, use "/scoreboard objectives list" to find your list of available scoreboards. Note the case is important

You could also use "add" instead of "set" to just add the desired amount.

I can't seem to find the objective name for kills?
