Don't know if this is posted yet, but I found a bug with rails. I found using detector rails to power powered rails doesn't work when going straight up hill. Works going down hill though.

Bug name: Graphical WTF's
Version: Several (rollbacks have not worked and the updates aren't fixing the problem)
Details: Load a world, doesn't matter which, walk around a bit and see trippy things.
System: Multiple. Using an outdated 2003 Dell (with possible outdated video drivers) which could barely run MC pre-beta (yes it was horrible even in the alpha stages) a work pc with java updates blocked and a gaming pc with everything updated (but the latter is working fine)
I just recently updated my work computer/GF's laptop with the new snap/update and then rolled back after experiencing these graphical sharts. This pic was taken inside of an underground house full of different things to screw up but this also happens in newly generated worlds that haven't been touched. I recently updated all of my drivers and it's working fine for me but when I play on her laptop (which has always had severe lag with the graphic options set for optimized use on a low end system) things are horribly screwed up, same with the work computer.
If anyone knows what might cause this I might be able to get things working again. In the mean time I bought the 360 version to keep us entertained at work

Have you ever had a dream that you, um, you had, your, you- you could, you’ll do, you- you wants, you, you could do so, you- you’ll do, you could- you, you want, you want them to do you so much you could do anything? - Best. Quote. Ever.
Bug name: Comparator timing issue Version: 13w03a Details: The time it takes for a redstone signal to travel through comparators is unreliable.
See picture for an instance where a signal through two identical circuits takes 3 ticks longer in one. System: i7 3770k / win7-64 Image:
Bug name: Pistons are sometimes extended and contracted at the same time without a redstone signal Version: snapshot 13w03a Details:I was making this: . It is a device that transports minecarts at 30 blocks per second with pistons. When I turned it off, I noticed that some pistons were extended. I went over to see where the signal activating them was coming from and found that there was none. Then I noticed that the piston base block appeared to be a contracted piston, but the piston extension block was still there in front of it. I tried activating and deactivating my machine and noticed that even with a signal the piston base was still contracted and the piston extension was still there. I realized that this was probably because piston extensions were immovable. When I smashed the extension, the piston re-extended. However, when I turned it off again it was the same way it was before. System: Windows 7 Image:
Bug name: Piston Texture Bug Version: 1.4.7 Details: I was just derping around with pistons and realized that the texture appears on the inner side of the piston as it is retracting. System: Dell Optiplex 780, Windows 7 64x Image:
Destroy the redstone block and have a wonderful machine, powered by nothing
Never mind my last question I actually just tested this out several times. There are two ways to make the block disappear, the first being to destroy it obviously. But I also found that opening the inventory while looking at it in close proximity makes the block become invisible. It's still there powering the redstone. I also made note of placing a second redstone block with the first and they rotate around one another as they should in the set up but also become invisible when the inventory bug is used. A third block with the right timing will push the first two out of sync and the device stops, as does with the placement of the second block with poor timing.
Conclusion: It's just a graphical bug which shouldn't be a hard fix. At least nothing terrible is happening.

Bug Name: Villager duplication Version: 1.4.7 Details: A zombie villager spawned naturally and I lured it to a building in an empty village I had built for the purpose and gave the villager the "usual treatment" of a weakness potion followed by a golden apple. After the appropriate delay (too long, in my opinion) the villager became a priest (purple robe). I traded several times with the priest until it had 3 trading options and then went a few chunks away (still within range for chunk updates, I think) and did other things. I exited and re-entered the game at least once before I returned to the village, to find that there were now two priests. Both priests had exactly the same three trading options, the same ones which the single priest used to have. System: Windows XP 32-bit
Details: Attempted to get close to even one block near a fenced pigzombie got hit, tryed this with a regular zombie was right next to the fence without a problem, Tested this on single and multiplayer
Might want to check it out.
I second that one. Zombie Pigmen always "hit" me as they die, without any hitting animation. It appears to be a proximity bug.
Bug name: Village Regeneration Version: 1.4.7 Details: My sister and I run a multi-player server together. I live in a smithy, and I placed ladders going to the roof. On the top was a jukebox I had placed earlier. I wanted to remove it, so I broke it, and the server disconnected. When we logged back in, the village had strangely deleted part of itself and re-spawned; half of my smithy was missing and there were 3 missing walls, the small homes had spawned twice on top of each other (multiple occasions), and random zombie dens had appeared all around the village, open-aired, that hadn't been there previously. We re-built everything, but much of the village was screwed up. The strange part is that everything that had occured in relation to the village and the layout was centered around where I stood when I broke the jukebox. The other half of the village was untouched. There was even a single villager in one of the two-story buildings. System: PC, we use Windows 7 Image: I have two of them, but I'm new to this website and can't figure out how to post them ^^' help would be much appreciated; I want this figured out as soon as possible!

I had this same (or similar) bug as well, though with Windows Vista 64-bit. However, mine differed slightly in that the duplicated priest villager appeared to replace an existing farmer villager he was sharing a house with.

Wouldn't it be more effective to post the link of the actual bug tracker? All the bugs here would probably be ignored because they assume they would be funneled there.

Bug name: The Third Person View Invisibility Glitch!
Version: 1.4.2 (Please note I haven't tested this for 1.4.3 pre-release yet.)
Details: Go into creative and put on some armour. Doesn't matter which but just put on some armour. Then use a potion of invisibility on yourself. Then equip yourself with a sword. Go into third person view (looking at yourself) and left click. Your hand will move but the sword won't.
System: Windows 7 Home Premium. But I think its a bug associated with the game, not the system.
Image: I'll try to put an image in.
Being invisible is what is MEANT to happen... The shoulder though, is just a glitch. I AM CERTAIN! xD
