When you say "again" do you mean due to the tick changes introduced in 1.11? I still haven't 'fixed' my elevators since; would be sweet if they reverted the issue. (well... not for those that took the time to re-time everything)...

Maybe it could be that i have not even used them since 1.10. I have mostly been hunting for mansions lately, on those few occasions I have time for Minecraft. When i wrote again I ment I have changed those elevators so many times after they brake. My world is getting old.
I also hope they change it back. it´s so boring going around fixing stuff every update.
If your elevator uses torches, torches now take 2 ticks to activate which alters the timings on many devices. Start there.
Most excellent offering, Kiqkin. I haven't had time to try to search for the specific cause. That makes sense; and should be an easy fix in my 'many' elevators of the same design.
Has something changed with redstone or pistons in the 1.12 snapshots? All my elevators are broken. (again *sigh*)
