I did some experimenting with the New Blocks and Mobs (16w20a) and have found some Interesting Features.
First lets get to the Mobs;
The Husk (Hostile), If a Charged Creeper explodes near it a Zombie Head will drop. Although it is visually bigger than a normal Zombie, the Hitboxes are the same. It is Daylight resistent and has the same drops as the Zombie. If it hits you, you will receive the Hunger Effect for 13 Seconds. There also exists baby versions of it.
The Stray (Hostile), If a Charged Creeper explodes near it a Skeleton Head will drop. Has the same height and Hitboxes as the Skeleton. It burns in the Daylight and has a chance to drop an arrow of Slowness but also some Bones and Arrows. If it hits you, you will receive the Slowness Effect for 30 Seconds.
The Polar Bear (Mixed), A charged Creeper doesn't drop a skull/head of this Mob. The Hitboxes don't seem to be over his/her Head so avoid hitting his/her head from the side. Very Interesting is the point that Polar Bears will attack if there is a Polar Baby near them (near you), which shows that they are protective near their Cub. Also if you hit him he gets aggressive. His/Her drops are Raw Fish Types.
Now let's get to the Blocks;
The Bone Block, Works like Wood Logs, sides changes depending where you aim at while placing block. No Effects on Player.
The Red Nether Brick, Nice Red Block, but doesn't have any special Effects.
The Magma Block, Does little Damage to player at one time but very fast. Also Works underwater. Has Animation like Lava.
The Nether Wart Block, Breaks with contact of a fluid (Water, Lava). Nothing else is really special about it.
I hope this thread helped you with understanding the New Blocks and Mobs a bit more.
